MacOS Big Sur rendering bug.
Hi!
I am an apple developer and I installed Big Sur beta (now on version 3) for work. I run into a problem with Illustrator that other people are not seeing. If I open one file everything is OK. When opening two or more files, I get a really nasty visual problem, with Illustror only. See file attached. Is anybody else having this problem, is there a way to fix it? I reinstalled Illustrator and it keeps happening.
This issue is resolved in Big Sur (macOS 11) public release

temporary fix would be to turn off GPU Performance in the Performance tab in Preferences

The problem is gone in 24.2.3 & Big Sur PB4
The new problem is that the palette is not shown (or not drawn completely) when you open a tool. -

I'm encountering the same thing. Of course the Adobe support gives you the typical "its still in beta" response. Uh... yeah, that's why I reported it. So you could have it fixed by the time it's released. That's... kind of the point of developer betas.

Having the same bug on an iMac Pro, Big Sur. Basic support didn't help. Advanced support said they'll give me a call in 24-48 hrs... It seems the bug is from 2015...

SOLVED - For me.
Egor suggested disabling GPU - SUCCESS!!
Thank you 1,000 times for the tip.

If you disable GPU — does it stay?

I'm running MacOS Big Sur Developer Beta.
Whenever I open a new document on illustrator, or open some existing documents, the whole screen turns red and when I try to zoom into the art-board or the document in general, it begins to glitch and white rectangles appear. I'm unable to select or move around any artwork.
