Start First Project
The Start First Project button is not working for me.

tear-off
Mac: 10.14.5
Illustrator version: 23.0.4In the past I was able to save my workspace with toolbar tear-offs (shapes, pen, etc.). When I re-open Illustrator and select my custom workspace, my tear-off tabs are not present. I'm hoping to get the tear-offs to save with my saved wowrkspace.

Illustrator Start UP
When I am opening an .ai file, it takes me to the start menu, and I can only open one .ai file at a time, when double clicking. I am running 23.0.3

Internet runs slow when Adobe Illustrator is open
I have 25 Mpbs internet....when Adobe Illustrator is open it runs at around 11 Mpbs

my shift, control, option and command keys are not working
iMac v. 10.14.5 (18F132)
(Retina 5K, 27-inch, 2017)
Processor 3.8 GHz Intel Core i5
Memory 16 GB 2400 MHz DDR4
Illustrator 23.0.4I don't know exactly when it started, but I cannot use my shift, control, command, or option keys. They work perfectly fine in combinations like shift+w, shift+arrows or command+c, and so on. They work from my Wacom, but not from the keyboard. It seems like I have the same issue in Photoshop.

Placeholder text Preference 06222019
I cannot untick/unselect Fill New Text Objects with Placeholder Text in preferences. I have the latest version 23.0.3

Paste in Front/Back should override Paste remembers layers option
The layer from which an object is copied is used for the pasted object even when using the Paste in Front/Back command. This is counterintuitive and the command should override the option.

Adding Assets to the Asset Export panel
In Attached document Art board #1, when selection one object and adding to asset export panel with 'Option' key pressed, it'll always add the Light Red Curved brush, as if this line magnetised to all vectors on that Art board.

Heavy upload to adobe.io (amazon) without files opened
During one week I left Illustrator opened.

Distribute Anchor Points not always working
When all Anchor Points of a Path are selected, Ai automatically assummes an Object selection, stopping the possibility to make use of the Distribute Anchor Points function.

Bring object forward (Ctrl + ] ) bug. Nudging left/right instead of moving forward.
There is an Illustrator bug I have previously and am currently experiencing that makes an object nudge to the right/left when trying to bring an object forward. I've had this happen on Windows 7 and Windows 10. There is obviously a workaround for this, i.e. View Outlines > Select > Bring object to front / Cut Paste in Front / Paste in Back, Save and Restart Illustrator etc. but it is counterproductive to efficiency.
Background: I'm a 10 year+ agency professional who specializes in UI design, illustration and branding.

• Create a blank document
• Create a new text object with the text "texttext"
• Give the text object the name "namename" in the Layers control panel
• "File->Save under" as svg, Klick Button OK

Bezier Curves break on circles when compounding shapes.
1) Windows 10, Illustrator 23.0.3(64bit)
2) Experienced a bug while compounding a shape into a circle, this managed to break the Bezier curve. This became an issue with a plot cutter slicing from one point to another in graphics production. The issue can be seen when compounding a shape. After using the pathfinder to minus a shape, two live corner appear in the center of the selection. When pulled the live corners on the circle create angled points.1 vote -

Template files (.ait) use/show the Adobe Swach Exchange (.ase) icon in Windows Explorer
I contacted the support center.
It was said that the same thing happened with windows of the support center.

ALIGN not working correctly in Illustrator 23.0.3
Ever since the latest update for Illustrator (23.0.3) Align does not work correctly. I've got 3 items selected; I click on the Align tab; use the "Align to" dropdown box and select "Align to Selection"; then click the "Horizontal Distribute Space" icon - but it distributes it across the page instead of just the THREE ITEMS I've selected.
I've noticed other align issues over the last week or so but cannot give details like I did above because today I stopped my work so I can come out here an list my problem.

AI smartobject doesn't open from Photoshop
This is an old bug THAT IS BACK!!! Double clicking an AI smart object in photoshop opens Illuistrator but it doesn't open the object. You have to close Illustrator completely and do it over again until it works.
