Carcoal feather Stroke instead of basic
Ai CC 2017, 2018; I was trying to create a circle with clean basic stroke style instead it keeps appearing as a charcoal feather stroke. I was working on Surface pro 4 while converting an image to vector. This doesn't happen on Pc or Mac.

Hi ,
Please try to upgrade your GPU driver as this issue was reported in March,2017 driver of Intel GPU card. On updating through system it sometimes shows your GPU cards are updated. Please download from Intel website.If you need any help I can connect you to tech support.

Ok, after other forums, I found an answer. Here it is: Just go to Edit > preferences > performance and simply uncheck the box which says "GPU performance. Hope this helps anyone else having this issue!

Help! this is also happening to me as well. I am using a surface pro. All my strokes are feathered and I can't make them normal solid strokes. It is happening on all new strokes I am creating and all old files I am opening up.

Hi,
Are you on Intel GPU card? Does this issue gets resolved on switching off GPU Preview.
