Devanagari scripts
The use of devanagari scripts in most Creative Suite is really laborious. It took me a long time before finding the way to have a correct display of simple copy/paste from Word or any other source of hindi or sanskrit texts by adjusting, in TWO différents dialog boxes the appropriate settings. I finally found the way to do it but, as I wanted to use a composition in a webpage, I exported my composition as SVG, and the result was just terrible: no word was correctly spelled and I had to retype all of them in Dreamweaver (which has a ton of bugs, but poses no problem with devanagari script!).
So, please make this feature work!
Thanking you in advance,
Regards
Pascal Garin

Dear Rama, thank you very much for your fast reply.
I don't see on this page how to upload files, but I will provide below the copy of the SVG file as saved by Illustrator, before I modified with with Dreamweaver. If, as your name suggest, you are Indian, you will easily recognize this pie chart that presents the four Hindu "yuga" and their duration. The final image is at the following page: http://www.chatranjali.fr/Sanskrit/Dasavataram/Dasavataram_dev.html (still to be completed by Sanskrit text and its translation into French). The modified SVG file is at: http://www.chatranjali.fr/Sanskrit/Dasavataram/Yuga_dev.svg
Here is what Illustrator has generated. You will see that the devanagari is quite strange whereas the AI file is OK.
