Pasting previously copied objects to random places
Illustrator pastes copied objects to random places outside of the view area.
I have to zoom out and look for the pasted object somewhere outside the artboard. Since updated to the latest version of the software. Also updated the OS to High Siearra to give you a full picture.
Please accept my sincere apology for the inconvenience. Please get in touch with us at any of the other support channels – https://helpx.adobe.com/support.html . Since this is not a generic issue that we can reproduce at our end, we will need someone to look into your machine to figure out what is going on here.

Illustrator seems to paste an object randomly off screen when I am zoomed in close to to do detailed work. I have to zoom out and scroll over to get the object I just pasted, and then go back to where I was working. This is ridiculous!

I also have this issue.. just started a couple days ago. When I paste an object it always appears off the Artboard to the right (in the same spot all the time).
It started when I initially made a new layer in a document and pasted something on another new Artboard over to the right side. And ever since then, whenever I paste something it pastes it in the same spot (even in different documents ) where that one Artboard was. I may have deleted the Artboard after I had pasted it if that is important... I'm not really sure if I did though.

I will add to this posting with a bit more detail.
I have and have had this problem for a long time in Illustrator, including the latest version, CC2019.
I have several identical artboards in a file. And when I sau identical, I mean copied with ALT + Shift with the artboard tool.
Now. If I have a single object I copy then paste in place on another artboard, it usually is placed in the same location on the new artboard.
BUT. If I copy several objects (like text areas + vector shapes + something else) and then try and paste in place Ctrl + Shift + V the placement is kind of random. The pasted items either end up on the same artboard, or near the originating artboard. Please keep in mind that I am activating the artboard I'm trying to paste to by clicking on it before pasting. Also, sometimes, the pasting in place works fine the first time I do it in a file, but then goes to the random behavior like explained above.
Please fix this, it's annoying as ****.
Oh and thank you guys for making the CC 2019 Illustrator more responsive when working with complicated artboards, the panning and general feel is much improved.
