Extremely slow "export for screens" and saving
I'm suffering a performance reduction in my workflow thanks to the latest update (23.0). I usually have at least five artboards per file project--sometimes up to 20. I used to export designs within 30 seconds and now it takes up to 5 minutes.
I haven't change anything in terms of hardware or workflow. My exports are slow no matter if the file goes to the server or to my hard drive. This is driving me crazy!
I am closing the ticket due to lack of response.

Since this is not a generic issue that we can reproduce at our end, we will need someone to look into your machine to figure out what is going on here.

I am suffering the same issue. I have an ai file with 28 artboards... all A4 width and varying height. Exporting as JPG, PNG, PDF and SVG (so 112 files) .. I expect it to take a while but I am now about 15 minutes in and only 68 files have been generated. Illustrator says not responding but the files are slowing generating.

I am having the same problem. I'm exporting tiny (28x28) icons, and each icon is being exported at about one per minute and a half. I am not exaggerating. What in the world happened?
