illustrator v25.2.1 color profile keeps changing to emulate adobe illustrator 6.0
illustrator v25.2.1 color profile keeps changing to emulate adobe illustrator 6.0 once I set it to our teams color profile. Especially if I switch from AI to PS. Even after changing the profile in Bridge and synchronizing them.
Hi ,
The bug will be fixed when PS is upgraded to the latest version 22.3.1 . Kindly update PS to 22.3.1 and Bridge to the latest version. If the issue still happens, kindly reset your Settings in both PS and Bridge.

Hi all, I've been playing around and this is working for me:
1) Close all Adobe Apps
2) Unistall Bridge
3) Go to location;
/Users/yourname/Library/Preferences/Adobe/Color
4) Now delete colour pref;
ACEConfigCache2.lst
5) Install Bridge
6) Start Bridge to set desired Colour Settings
7) Hopefully it's worked, make a cup of tea and relax.
Btw i'm on Bridge version 11.0.1.109
PhotoShop 22.3.0
Illustrator 25.2 (which I won't be updating for now!)
InDesign 16.1Good luck everyone,
LJ

This problem also appears in Indesign CC. When opening a document in inDesign the colors setting is changing in Adobe Bridge.

Tried all the solutions but the problem still persists, has it been fixed?
It's causing lots of problems with my clients prints and harming future business, any update would be much appreciated!
Many thanks,

This issue is a true headache. Do you know how many times a day I have to switch the color settings back to North America General Purpose 2 when I switch from Ai to Ps? I kid you not, but it's in the 30+.

How many engineers are currently working on Illustrator? Compared to the numerous bugs with every Update and the-never-update-any-tool policy I guess 3 and 2 are on vacation...

No fix helps as soon as one opens Photoshop again. What a mess!

Seriously, this is out of hand. When will this be fixed? The colours are terrible.

Same thing is happening - I was comparing work I did last few weeks to today (April 1) and the colors were way different after exporting an art board. Is this an April fools joke??

Speaking for Mac users :
I have some kind of a 1/2 solution to propose to the community. Along with Adobe technicians with which I spent a few hours, they first proposed me to downgrade Illustrator or Ps, but didn't work.
it finally seems that the problem is coming from a bog between the Mac account and the Adore softs. To get rid of it momentarily, you need to create a new Mac account, copy the files you're working on for example into an external Hard Drive and work on your files from this new account. With brand new settings it works properly. Good luck, because this bog is freaking out. -

It seems this has been a bug before...

Can Adobe not do what they did last time to fix it?

Is this how I upvote?
I started having this problem only recently, both before updating to the latest Mac OS (11.2.3) and whatever the Adobe apps are up to, post-MacOS-update. In searching for the solution, I found this behavior has been going on for years, under several iterations of Adobe apps.

Every time I switch between programs (most of the time to Photoshop) Illustrator changes my color settings to "Emulate Illustrator 6" and have to change it manually. It's killing my workflow and is a very huge issue. Please fix this.

The following bug:
If it was fixed in 2018, well its back!
I run CC apps all up to date on a mac (10.15) and this behaviour has started since last update. I reset the colour settings in bridge, but then if I go away for a while and come back to illustrator it has reverted to emulate illustrator 6.0"
Very tedious, please fix

This seems to be a colour settings sync issue as it also happens in InDesign. Colour settings keep reverting to "Emulate Illustrator 6.0" even after setting them in Bridge. In InDesign they are reset to "Emulate InDesign 2.0". There was a thread about this for Illustrator 2019 which was fixed but the issue is back as it's happened to me several times.
