Can't do changes to the containing folder - gude

A text file named "gude<current date>" is created in the destination folder. Can't do changes to the containing folder.

I am happy to share that we have fixed this bug in our latest release – 27.3.1 which is available worldwide now.

Going forward, our goal is to fix as many top User-Voice bugs as possible and as frequently as possible. Given the nature of the fixes, some of the bugs will take a longer time to fix, but we are on it.

    Same bug for me, for months, when you paste copy/paste a linked file inside illustrator, it duplicate imagem name on links panel, and for each placed image inside illustrator, a file is created on folder where the AI file is:
    1.png
    2.png

    Etc..

    For each copied image inside AI file, a new 0kb png is created :(
    But in last updates, a folder and a temp file are created :(

    probabbly this bug is tied to this "gude" bug

    Hi there,

    I having the same issue here. I am running my Adobe Suite on Windows 11. It seems to be present since I upgraded to this version of Windows.

    A small notepad file gets created almost every time I use Photoshop or Illustrator.
    Before I manage to unlock it, I am unable to open it it just shows in red: I/O error

    Annoying extra files are being created for no reason. This is happening on local and network file locations. It happens if I use the "export for screens" function.

    annoying extra file in every folder I work in on my network 'gude-2022-08-31.log' today....

    I have seen such file for the first time today, but I can do changes in the folder containing it.
