The Search field is missing on the Home Screen in Your Files section
Having a search bar would save us a lot of time.
Basically when I want a specific file and I know the name I have to swipe and look thru almost a thousand of my files to find it… if there was a search bar I would be able to type in the project name and access my files in seconds vs 10-15 minutes… I have a lot of projects…
This change happened because of recent changes made for Home Screen. This is not an intended behavior and the team is going to fix it

According to the Ai team, the Home Screen team has restored support for file search in the File > Open > Open Cloud Document dialog, but it is not yet available for the production/release build. The both are working together to make it available as soon as possible.

When can we expect a fix for this? It's the most irritating part of my day trying to open a project, realizing I can't do it through the program and having to search for in through the Creative Cloud Desktop

Can't wait until this is fixed, it's so painful without a search function. Please bump the priority on this fix.

A file search function is so basic but critical for me...having to scroll through hundreds of files now is driving me crazy. 😫 (I used to use Creative Cloud to look up files, but now all my folders show up empty on there, no idea why...ugh.)

Bumping this — search field was an important tool for me, I have hundreds of files in the cloud labeled with keywords, and I use the search function many times a day. Please bring this feature back, it really makes work much harder without it.

Thank you Egor, I do see it now on the home page.

I see, I don’t see it also there.
There’s a magnifier Search icon at the very top of the home screen, and it seems like it works the same way. One more click though...
Voted too. -

Hi Egor, thank you for the response. I've attached a photo below for what we are talking about. It is in version 29.8.3 but not the 30.

Maly, I’m not a big Home Screen user myself... can you recall when did you have it there (and was it in the home screen at all)?

This was a feature that was available before, not sure why they removed it. I had to find a file from last year earlier and had to waste so much time just looking for it.
