Using Pencil Tool results in error
Unfortunately, the pencil tool still doesn't work for me. I received this unknown error, which I've attached a photo of. The only workaround that I've been able to use is by using a 3rd party plug-in (Astute Graphics Sketch Tool) to use instead of the pencil tool. I don't understand why this bug has been so difficult to fix

We are not able to see the issue at our end. Could you please confirm if you’re able to reproduce it consistently on your end? If yes, it would be very helpful if you could share the exact steps to reproduce the problem.

Please fix the pencil tool. I do not understand how such a critical tool could be ruined when it worked wonderfully for decades. Now a shape just changes however it wants, ignoring what I actually draw. The penicl has no accuracy to what I actually draw. It's absurd. I tried going back to previous versions but that is not helping.
I'm seriously considering trying other drawing programs after 25 years of being dedicated to Adobe if this pencil issue is not resolved. I don't even like to draw anymore because this tool is so frustrating. I'm relieved to see it is not just "me", and it's not due to my new wacom pen (which I thought was causing the problem for the past year.)
Please, please, Adobe, listen to the artists. We literally made it possible for your business to exist for decades and now you have forgotten us because you think we all want AI, but we don't. We want to use the accurate tools you offered to artists for so many years. I feel entirely abandoned by this company after decades of dedication. It's a pencil tool - it should act like one . I'm afraid to even update my version - is the pencil worse each time a new version is released? It seems like it. :-(
