Document Raster Effects settings not being honored on all affected objects
Illustrator 30.1 on MacOS 14.6.1
Changing the Document Raster Effects settings used to affect all objects with pixel effects, at current it appears not to anymore and one has to manually force an update of the Drop Shadow effect for example.

This issue is still occurring in Illustrator 30.8.2. Changing Effect > Document Raster Effects Settings does not update existing live raster effects, including Outer Glow, Gaussian Blur, and Drop Shadow.
Each effect only adopts the correct resolution after I toggle its visibility off and on in the Appearance panel.
This disrupts our print-production workflow because the document’s global PPI setting cannot be trusted to reflect the actual resolution of all effects. Manually refreshing every effect is time-consuming and creates a risk of low-resolution output.
Adobe confirmed this issue in February. Please provide an update on the fix and a reliable way to refresh all affected effects at once. -

It also happens with older versions, not always, but with this file the problem is visible in Illustrator 2023. See also the forum post: https://community.adobe.com/t5/illustrator-discussions/document-raster-effects-settings-not-being-honored-on-all-affected-objects/m-p/15673955#M461654

Indeed, I confirm this...
Sometimes it forces it on the selected object only, sometimes at the last edited... forcing an object to recalculate the effect fixes the resolution and it stays even after Cancelling. What a mess...
Thank you for the report!
