Guides with an angle won't move when zoomed in 300% or more (Illustrator CC 23.0.3)
I hope I chose the right category.
Illustrator will not allow me to move smart guides that have any angle to them when Im zoomed in to 300% or more. This is extremely "I about to break my keyboard" frustrating. This seems to be an on going issue that is "patched" but re-emerges with every other update!1 vote -
Double Tool Bars
My current build of Adobe Illustrator is displaying two toolbars, side by side, one minimized and one expanded. I'm assuming this is a bug. I reset the essentials tool bar and re-installed illustrator but the problem persists. See the left side of the attached screenshot
1 voteThere are multiple ways to resolve this
1. Reset workspace Essentials
2. Dragout the extra toolbar from dock and then close it
3. Reset preference (not recommended unless necessary)
4. Please get in touch with us at any of the other support channels – https://helpx.adobe.com/support.html . -
Negative Offset not functioning using Pica
When units are set to Pica
Create a shape, choose Object Menu > Path > Offset Path. Input a negative number and move to Miter Limit. Number changes to a positive.
Select the input field again and use arrow keys to create a negative number. Number changes to a positive.
Use a negative number from with circumstance and click okay. Object obtains an offset path equal to the positive number (not negative).
This behavior is preventing me from doing my work!

Color Fill Bug
Hello! Yesterday, I finished drawing a comic. I was supposed to color it in, but the color fill was not working on anything on the drawing. I tested using the fill color on a separate drawing and it worked. It’s only this one drawing that can’t be colored using fill at all.
I do the press and hold technique to color. My iPad Pro is version 12.3.1 and is up to date.
Update: It’s gotten a little better. I can only color small objects but that’s it.

Gardient tool preview useless render
Gradient tool prompts a render dialog every time it is used since the CC2019 versions. Latest Vers did not bring any improvement. Any time I drag on a gradient or apply one, I get up to 25 sec of render preview dialog box but for WHAT please. Anyone else?

Transform Each for groups
Transform Each currently rotates multiple groups around a common center point, counter intuitive to what the name implies. Does what the name says when used on vectors.

Make it usable on ipad - Draw is extremely inferior
Adobe Draw is an inferior product to Illustrator. The promise of creating vector art and moving it to Illustrator only works about half the time and you do not have the ability to interact (select manipulate etc) individual objects. I am sure that it is complicated to make a desktop software work on an ipad but honestly, I am a bit confused as to why this does not exist. My computer has way less space than my ipad pro. It also allows me to plug a tablet in and use a stylus throughout illustrator to do whatever I want. I…

Selection tool does no allow to resize a selection
Selection tool does not work properly. It selects the total anchor points of an object, however it does not behave as the Direct Selection Tool, it only allows to move the object. It does not allow to resize. a single or multiple objects selected.
Illustrator version: 23.0.3
OS: Mac OS Mojave 10.14.41 voteMost likely you have accidentally disabled bounding box. Enable it back via View > Show Bounding Box or with a Cmd/Ctrl + Shift + B hotkey. If it solves it (or not) — please comment back.

Image Trace Creates a white border after trace
High fidelity image trace in Illustrator 2019 for Mac will add a white border and round the corners. This doesn't seem to be an issue with the PC version of Illustrator (at least for the white border, it will still round the corners).

Dynamic offset tool with snapping
This is an idea: I would like to be able to dynamically adjust offset value by sliding the mouse cursor on either side of the path / shape, and eventually snap it to a existing anchor point, for example.

fill not aligned with path
Paths not aligned to fill or actual graphic on Illustrator 23.0.3 (CC 2019).
Not sure when it happens or how but it will randomly not move the fill with the path lines. Changing the colour or selecting some edges of the path will make it bounce to the correct position.
The file will print with the fill moved.
Once it is corrected it you can't undo problem without reopening the file that is saved like this.
My best guess and only thing I have noticed different about this paths that are wrong is it has a overprint fill turned on.…
