1. Illustrator after 5 mins starts loading continuously

   Once opening my cloud file after 5 mins the cursor starts loading & doesn't stop. Making it impossible to save. The only way to stop the issue is to force quit on Mac & reopen, then it'll repeat after 5 mins again

2. Animated zoom not working in latest version 27.2 for Mac

   Animated zoom is not working on Macbook Pro (Intel). I have checked the "Animated zoom" option under GPU in Performance. Restarted the app too.

   I tried it on another Macbook Pro (M1) and it just doesn't work.

3. Illustrator Nonstop crashing

   Illustrator crashes often throughout the day. Mac Studio M1 Ventura 13.2 128 GB Ram 4TB HD, Illustrator 27.X.

   Happens often after pasting artwork from other files and then moving the pasted artwork.

   This is happening on multiple Mac Studio's with designers working on different files.

   Files are local on their desktops.

   We reset preferences files, cache etc.

   This is a really critical issue.

4. Constantly Crashing

   I am on a iMac & the program crashes quite often with no set reason except I am doing either using a new tool, saving or switching layers... It also has locked up several times & I don't think my files are that big...

5. Illustrator 27 (last version) crashes

   Illustrator crashes after some minutes of use without any apparent reason. I have run any possible thing to solve it. I am just drawing with my wacom tablet, the same I have done for the last 3 years. The files are usually partially recovered, but there is no error name or code displayed.

6. Illustrator 26.2.1 LAGS on EVERYTHING. Unusable.

   For no reason that I can tell, Illustrator has suddenly become totally unresponsive. I can't do ANYTHING. Even trying to resize the interface window results in a 30-second-long storm of flickering diagonal arrows cursor. No menu item can be selected without an unusably long lag.

   I have reset preferences, restarted Illustrator, restarted the machine altogether, switched wifi networks, the whole shooting match. I use Illustrator for all my work and this has brought my life to a crashing halt.

7. Can't Save AS!!!!!

   When I try to SAVE or SAVE AS. Nothing happens. This is a random bug just pops up randomly.

   It won't let me save or even save as. When I click Save As the finder box doesnt open so I can't do anything.

   I'd have to force quit so that AI thinks it crashed then pray that I get my recovered document when I open it up again.

   FIX THIS PLEASE.

8. v26.5 on Mac OSX is very slow, generally.

   v26.x is generally way slower than v25.4.8, but some features, like freeform gradient, are unusably slow. It takes couple of seconds to recalculate even a simple gradient with just 3-4 points. Same goes with applying wariable width stroke profile to multiple objects or a nested group. In 25.4.8 those tasks are instantaneous, in 26.5 they can even cause "spinning beach ball of doom" and take minutes to resolve.

9. Menu windows eventually are inoperable

   Usually once per day my file menu windows become inoperable, they are completely white. This has only started happening since the most recent update. The only way out of it is to shut down. It doesn't even let me save. I'm running Windows 11 and the version is 26.4.1.

10. Delay from keyboard causes unnecessary errors

    I've reported this in the past, and I'm shocked and frustrated that nothing has been done to resolve it: There is a delay between when a button is pressed on my keyboard and when Illustrator registers it. As someone who has used this application for over 20 years, I'm very fast. As a result, when pressing (for example) the OPTION key in order to do anything (like changing the direct selection tool to the Group Selection tool) it takes an additional half of a second for Illustrator to register the change. Considering the speed at which I work, this means the key I clicked is not acknowledged in time, and the wrong command is executed. This also happens in Photoshop but doesn't happen in non-Adobe applications, which leads me to believe this isn't due to a low battery or something outside the application. The last time I opened a case on this subject I had to let it close as I couldn't afford to waste any more time waiting for a resolution, but I am at my wit's end with this nonsense.

11. Strange lag when opening files in Illustrator and Lightroom is running in the background

    When Lightroom is running in the background I am experiencing a lag when opening files in Illustrator. It takes about 40 seconds for the file to come up in Illustrator, even with smallest files.

    Had this issue for a long time now and with X versions of Illustrator in the past.

    • Keep lightroom running parallel to illustrator
    • Open File (double click or from the menu)
    • Blank file pops up and stays freezed for an amound of seconds

    • File opens completely

    • PC, Windows 10 pro 21H2, last X Versions of Illustrator

    More strange: When I send Lightroom to a systray icon with third party tools, so no icon is visible in the taskbar, the lag is gone!
    Also, when the file opening hangs and I switch to Lightroom for a second and then back to Illustrator, the file pops up (it ends the freezing).

12. Space + drag navigation bug after sleep on M1

    The space + drag navigation stops working in almost all Adobe programs after I wake up my M1 Macbook Pro from sleep on macOS 11.5.2. So I have to restart the system.

13. Illustrator 26.3.2 lags when wifi turned on

    Illustrator 26.3.2 on MacBook Pro, 2019, 2.3GHz 8-core i9, RAM: 32 GB 2400 MHz DDR4, Graphics: Radeon Pro Vega 20 4 GB. When wifi is turned on, performance is very laggy. Every few actions of the mouse, the screen/cursor skips and freezes, beach ball briefly appears, then back to normal after about 5 seconds.

    When wifi is turned off, app works fine. I installed the previous version and it works fine so far with wifi on.

14. Insane Bloatware Devouring my RAM

    Holy **** Adobe. I am not going to be professional or even reasonable in this email because THIS IS ******* RIDICULOUS. WHY are the 30+ background programs running that are literally impossible to kill, and will launch even if they are not on the startup list!!!!! Your absolute garbage approach to managing these background tasks has essentially rendered my PC useless. I am ******* angry and honestly I want my money back for Illustrator because this is complete horse ****. How can you honestly sleep at night as a developer knowing how embarrassingly poor this software suite is set up? You suck!

15. Copy/Pasting Art Causes "Save Changes" Prompt When Closing File

    If I copy the art in one document and paste it into another document, I will get the "Save changes to the AI document before closing?" prompt when I attempt to close the document from which the art has been copied, even though I have made no changes.

    AI never used to do this to my recollection. It's a nuisance and causes doubts when I've been distracted from one task, only to come back and have to verify whether any changes have actually been made.

    The majority of the time, no changes have been made but to be on the safe side, I have to verify each time.

16. Illustrator freezes windows file explorer

    Ever since the last update, occasionally Illustrator will completely freeze when I'm opening a file. Additionally, after that happens, every time I try to open an adobe product file from within file explorer, it also freezes. I have to restart the system to fix this. I can double click any other file within file explorer and it will open fine, but if I try to double click on any adobe product, it doesn't matter which one, it will completely freeze. But it all starts whenever it freezes from within illustrator.

17. Stability Issues

    Illustrator is constantly crashing, I use Windows 10. I've been losing a lot of work because of it. I am forced to do the updates (can't use an older version) because I receive art from multiple artists and they all use the updated version, and the "older versions" can't open the newer version.... WHEN ARE YOU GUYS GOING TO FIX THIS???!!!

20. Not Responding. Crashing when I go to make a pattern

    Operating system: Windows 10
    Nvidia GeForce RTX 2060 Super
    Intel(R) Core(TM) i9-9900K CPU @ 3.60GHz
    31.85GB RAM

    Currently in the process of creating a 40cm x 40cm all over surface pattern design print. So far everything has been fine. My total file size is 435mb.

    When I select my imagery ready to turn in to Object > Pattern > Make
    Illustrator decides that it can't process this, freezes and crashes.
    I am on the most up to date versions of Illustrator and drivers for my RAM.
    I have also tried simplifying my pathways to no avail.

    Does anyone else know how to get around this issue or will this need to be updated?
