1. Illustrator on a new iPad is slow and shuts down

   Got a brand new Apple iPad and downloaded illustrator and photoshop, when opening illustrator and creating designs it gives me 1 minute and then shuts the whole app down and gets rid of all the progress, made in the time I get on my design.

2. Freezing and crashing

   Having issues with auto save on my iPad, since it keeps crashing and deleting all my work done. Issue clearly has not to be taken care of since online there’s been people complaining for the past 2 years. Just purchased subscription and can’t even use it.

3. Typing does not work with the magic keyboard in the app

   I can highlight and create text boxes but when I attempt to type nothing Inputs and it selects other tools.

4. Absurdly slow lag and constantly freezes to the extent it’s unusable.

   I am working on a fairly simple vector that I created in adobe capture. I am attempting to perfect all of the linework, but every time I try to select a different shape in my design, the app freezes. I click on it and wait and wait. I give it at least 30 seconds before I try to click again and nothing. Sometimes it takes 2-3 minutes before anything happens. Often after a few minutes, suddenly the tool changes from the point select tool to the entire object select tool (the top arrow tool instead of the second arrow tool.). Sometimes there is a blue box at the top saying something like, “Object Select.’ I have forgotten exactly what it says. I try to deselect and I can’t. Nothing happens, then finally it deselects and I see the tool has changed, so i change it back and try again. Often the same thing happens over and over again. When it does finally select the shape with the right tool, often I can edit it as long as I don’t zoom out or try to move around the artboard. If I do, it freezes and when it finally unfreezes my object has been distorted because instead of zooming out or moving, it moved part of the outlines of my object.

   I am using apple pencil. I tried using my finger while it’s lagging but that makes no difference. I updated my ipad to 16.5, and then updated adobe illustrator. This did nothing to help. It’s still so slow it’s unusable. Unfortunately my mac has died and i’m paying for all of this software, but only have my ipad to use it on. I am trying to get these pieces done for my shop so that I can make the money to get a new computer, but if I can’t use my ipad to make my vectors then I’m really limited here. I don’t know what else to do. I have searched and searched for some kind of fix, but I can’t find anything except lots of other people with the same problem and no solution. I keep restarting with no avail. I also closed every other app so ai is the only one running and it still won’t work. This app used to work great. I don’t know what happened.

5. Svg file will not open correctly

   I tried to open one of my saved svg files but illustrator does not open it completely (it recognises parts of the svg but does not display their proprieties- stroke, fill etc).Please see attached image

6. Can not open multiple ai artboards on same file

   When I try to import from CC or any other folder different artboards in the same ai file, I can not see any AI files in my folders even though I have files saved there.

7. Drag and text appear while I don’t want to use it.auto tool appear next that I don’t want to use .

   My ipad slowly ,after that I found problem text automatic with my pen that create some part of text but I don’t know while I use it because , TEXT CREATE BY DRAG ,my file is so big and have a lot of text that I don’t want.When I export file my job must to find a little text to delete.It is add my time to finished my job.

8. Illustrator uses the old account name in the greetings

   Your program is 'deadnaming' me. On the home page it says welcome to adobe illustrator, -deadname-! I changed my profile name but yet it didn’t go away. I know it’s because of my old account but it would be great to choose what will I see when I open the app.

9. Compound path bugs

   Have had situations where compound paths untether an object from layers, so it basically has no home. When reloading the app all of the progress is gone. I have no screenshots because everything disappeared.

   Many design-breaking bugs can be found by doing basic Illustrator stuff, I rarely have a file come out unruined if I decide to work on the iPad. It’s a shame because I enjoy how it feels on iPad, but it doesn’t work and they haven’t fixed common file-breaking bugs that have been around for years.

10. Crashes every few minutes

    I’m working on an exam project right now and adobe wont save and keeps crashing. Every few minutes, it’ll crash and delete everything I’ve done in those minutes since crashing. This is a real pain and for a program that is supposed to be high quality vs procreate that I haven’t ever had crash. It’s just really annoying having to draw the same thing over and over for it just to be deleted.

12. Apps crashes when 50 layers get created

    After 50 layers app has started crashing. The app is slow, crashes after 2-3 strokes.

15. 作業中に画面が落ちる、ファイルが開けない、保存できない

    iPadで利用しています。アップデートして最新の状態でデータを作成していても何かの拍子に画面が落ちてしまいます。またはファイルを書き出せません、ファイルを配置できません。と通知が出て作業が無効になってしまいます。

18. Issue with X, Y values modification .

    ファイルを開こうとすると落ちる。開けても真っ白で何も映らない。(レイヤープレビューには表示あり) 再インストールしても変わらないため作業が進まず困っている。
