But from an Illustrator sRGB document it embeds a US Swop profile, while my color settings are set to European Fogra.
From a CMYK document it exports the correct profile (according to my settings Fogra).

An error occurred while saving the comment An error occurred while saving the comment As Thar Lynn Oo commented, this happens during drag and drop. The document color profile will be changed and the appearance of the objects too. This cannot be undone.
An error occurred while saving the comment This is still happening when, as Thar Lynn Oo noticed in this thread, drag and drop is used from Photoshop to Illustrator , the document color profile will be changed to that of the image.
You cannot undo this profile change And the appearance of all the colors will change. -

An error occurred while saving the comment Yes, drag and drop works now, but the changing of the Illustrator Document Color Profile when the Photoshop image has a different one is not fixed.

Hi Everyone,
The fix has been rolled out and is available in our latest release build – 29.3.0 which is available worldwide now.
Illustrator will now keep gradient fills applied to objects in imported PDFs, generated by InDesign.

An error occurred while saving the comment Same for Copy/Paste object with Gradient from InDesign to Illustrator. A gradient with a 100/0/0/0 stop does not copy/paste, but when this stop has 100/1/1/1 it will.

An error occurred while saving the comment The idea behind large canvas is that you can create at large artboard sizes without using a scale factor.
There is only a warning triangle when you create a large document that exceeds the default canvas size limit. You cannot turn it off once created :-(

A 512 ppi image is cropped with a 300 ppi resolution. The resolution shows as 5120 ppi. After entering 300 and hitting Apply, the resolution becomes 30 ppi.
Saving a PDF with compression, Bicubic Downsampling to 300 ppi reduce the resolution to 30 ppi.
You cannot resample to 300 ppi, when you enter 3000 ppi instead of 300, you get 2400, which results in 240 ppi.

Tried it again today and it does not embed profiles anymore in 28.5. Nothing changed compared to yesterday, no updates, reset or restart.
