Seems like this issue was addressed in the latest Beta build 29.6.57. Please try to update and see if it works how it should.

An error occurred while saving the comment I know the ctrl + space zoom tool switch. But it would be nice to have that feature as well.

An error occurred while saving the comment Adobe XD had that smooth zoom feature that I wanted to see in Illustrator. Most people use a mouse with a clicky mouse wheel. When we zoom by holding Alt + using the mouse wheel it skips when you feel a click in the wheel. But in XD it was a smoother zoom effect.
So, I am looking for a smooth zoom feature in Illustrator. Thanks.

An error occurred while saving the comment Thanks, Egor. I thought it was broken. So, on my end, those two paths go sideways instead of intersecting at a point. To join this I will use the menu command (Object > Path > Join) to join it.
I think the menu command or the shortcut will do the work but if you think it would be a good feature to have that does both, then you can convert it into a feature request.Thanks again. ✌️

The issues has been supposedly fixed in the latest Beta 30.4. The nature of the problem makes it hard to test, but, please, if possible, try to see if it works and doesn’t lead to vanishing images. The team needs a confirmation (or otherwise) before pushing it into the general build.

Illustrator crashed suddenly and all my embedded images are gone. Vectors are there. All the images turned out black. This happened 3-4 times before, that's why I am reporting this now. Please fix this issue.

Can you verify this works as expected in later Illustrator builds? It seems like the problem was fixed.
An error occurred while saving the comment I updated it a day ago—still no sign of a live color preview. And GPU performance is on.

Live preview of color is now live in Illustrator 27.1.1, for Color Picker dialog, Color panel, Properties and Control panel, and Appearance panel.
It works in GPU mode only.
