Please get in touch with us at any of the other support channels – https://helpx.adobe.com/support.html . Since this is not a generic issue that we can reproduce at our end, we will need someone to look into your machine to figure out what is going on here.

It's not just Nvidea... I have a stock 2017 5k Imac and can't just swap out my graphics card. I never had performance or color shift problems until this latest release.
Illustrator runs fine in GPU view mode, but slows down incredibly in CPU preview mode, to the point where using the app (on a modern mac) becomes impossible. The problem is, the colors shift from what they actually are in GPU preview mode to the point where if you choose and use color carefully you can't trust what you're seeing in GPU mode.
This affects a lot of professional users who rely on good color and I hope you will attend to this soon.

At some point, please allow adding all elements, graphic styles, brushes, gradient fills, pattern fills, etc. to Libraries. Thank you!

Hi Everyone,
All the effect checkboxes have now been set to ON by default, and are sticky (meaning that if you disable preview, on next launch of Illustrator preview will remain disabled). This functionality now is available in our latest release build – 24.1.1 for Win and 24.1 for Mac which is available worldwide now.
What’s new in 24.1: https://helpx.adobe.com/illustrator/using/whats-new.html
You can update to the latest release using Creative Cloud desktop App: https://helpx.adobe.com/in/creative-cloud/help/creative-cloud-updates.html
Thank you for all the feedback.

Also, it would be nice to have a box to click for *copies,* as exists in Transform, however the ability to offset in points or pixels, rather than as a percentage, as is currently in Transform.

More broadly, I’d like to have an option to say any clipping mask can trim and remove everything outside the mask.

We have done further updates to Dimension tool with recently released version - 28.3
You can create and use your custom scale for dimension, hide or show units on dimensions and dimensions are now sticky to the object - they transform as well when you transform the object.

In addition to dimensions, please consider more fully featured RULERS and STENCILS: - the ability to draw a straight line or curve around an edge. In a way similar, but better than what you've implemented in iPad Draw and Sketch. Beyond using any curve as a ruler edge, I'd like to see the ability to use any shape as a stencil, to draw inside, around the edge, or outside. See iPad Concepts and Mac Rebelle to see the way they've implemented this.

Please share your thoughts on the following:
1. Would it make sense to have a separate desktop app, just to create charts, and bring them inside Illustrator or InDesign? It may not be on cloud.
2. Or would you rather have us work on building it within Illustrator?
Thanks

My vote would be to have all of this in a separate app.

I think I'm getting at a broader idea that includes some requests already posted - Advanced user defined variables to duplicate or step and repeat objects any number of times. This would allow users to either or conform or randomize copies of a Transform for advanced effects. I saw this idea some years ago by a Russian guilloche pattern product called Excentro ( http://www.excourse.com/excentro/index.html ) screenshot attached, that does just that.
Perhaps this is a third party plugin, or a separate Adobe product, but I think it would be great to take this on as an Illustrator feature. You can imagine the variety of step and repeat live effects that users could create, not just for guilloche patterns, but for many other art and design purposes, and it would be great to import this into After Effects!!
duplicate its graphic objects any number of times with the individual attributes of the objects modified by user defined values

We have released the support for Gradient swatches in CC library with our latest release - v29.3
You can select the gradient swatch in swatches panel and add it to CC Library through the button on the bottom bar in the panel. You can also select any object which has gradient applied and add that gradient to CC Library through Add Elements from the Libraries panel and choose Fill Gradient from the drop-down menu.
Please update to this version from your Creative Cloud Desktop application and let us know your feedback.

Yes, pattern swatches too! Also brushes to CC libraries.

And pattern fill swatches too! Separately, save pattern brushes to CC Libraries, and integrate pattern brushes with Capture.

This problem persists and I can't rely on choosing colors in GPU preview mode. I can't work in CPU preview mode because the application slows down on a 2018 5k Imac to the point where it's unusable. I hope Adobe releases this a serious problem for professional users and attends to fixing this - it's not up to us to update our video cards!
