An error occurred while saving the comment Simon Bowland commented25.0 Build 68.
Repeat>Symmetry needs simplifying and needs to be accessible from somewhere more convenient than an Objects sub-menu.
After creating a mirror image of an object, it's far too long-winded a process to release the mirror image and be able to select it with the pointer tool. Why does it force the user into Isolation Mode? This should be a very simple task but the current workflow makes it far too complex. It needs a structural rethink, in my opinion. It's not at all ready for release (although I'm sure it will be released whether it's ready or not).
An error occurred while saving the comment Simon Bowland commentedDoesn't work properly as of 24.3.1 Build 60.

An error occurred while saving the comment Simon Bowland commentedHonestly, I don't see the point of this. Hardly anyone uses "Photoshop Cloud Documents". I don't, and unless my particular industry has a radical workflow shift, I never will. It would have been far better to
a) fix the bugs in Cloud Docs;
b) add the ability to use linked images in Cloud Docs; and
c) introduce some form of usable background save in Cloud Docs
Sorry for the negativity here, but this is underwhelming. -

Hi All,
This issue has been fixed.
Please update to the latest AI version 24.0.0. and let us know if you are facing any issues around this workflow. Thanks & Regards,
Illustrator TeamAn error occurred while saving the comment Simon Bowland commentedSaving an Illustrator document with "PDF compatibility" selected causes the file save to be ridiculously slow. It should not take this amount of time to save a document. Was previously "fixed" in 24.0 but has not been fixed at all.

An error occurred while saving the comment Simon Bowland commentedToo buggy at this stage. Far too many times where objects randomly jump around the screen when I'm trying to move them.

An error occurred while saving the comment Simon Bowland commentedIt could be improved by making it work accurately. Currently, that is not the case.

We are excited to announce that this feature is now available in BETA (starting V 29.1.28).
The new 'Generate color info' helps you share color information with others.
To use this, just select the colors from the swatch panel and click on 'generate color info' in the menu options.
You can customise the size, layout, color codes etc.
PS : Currently we only support CMYK values but other color codes such as RGB, HSB, spot vs process colors are in pipeline and we will ship them shortly.
Please try out this feature and let us know what you think!
Thanks
Saurav

Hi Everyone,
We have fixed this bug in our latest release – v 24.2.1 which is available worldwide now. Thanks for your patience on this.
Please note that after upgrading you might still see that Align To sets itself to Align to Key Object. If you see this, please manually set the Align To to the required setting, and this reported bug will not happen again. You’ll need to this one time only.
The reason Align To might get set to Key Object after update is because Ai remembers your last Align To on subsequent launches as well. So, if your last Align To was Key Object before quitting/upgrading, after first multi-selection, it will set itself to Key Object. After you manually change it one-time, it will work fine.
You can update to the latest release using Creative Cloud desktop App: https://helpx.adobe.com/in/creative-cloud/help/creative-cloud-updates.html

Hi Everyone,
This functionality is available in our latest release build – 27.6.1.
Illustrator remembers the last preset used for saving PDF files and keeps it as the default preset.

Thank you for all the feedback.

The recently announced change pushed into Beta 28.6.578 refers to this similar request: http://illustrator.uservoice.com/forums/333657/suggestions/35253820
The users can now use save custom presets within the Saved tab in the New Document dialog (modern one, not the legacy one). Please provide the dedicated feedback there.
As for the ability to change the existing predefined sizes for each document profile (Print, Web, etc,), like A1, A5, etc, — this is not yet available. Stay tuned and sorry for the misfire.

Illustrator allows option to Simulate Color Paper, whereby user can pick any color as the background. (This is accessible from File -> Document Setup)
Does this help solve the described concerns?
