Latest Beta Build 29.2.34 now allows to export into Ai and EPS formats via Export for Screens / Assets dialog.
Please try to test it and comment on if it works as you expect.
Exporting TIFFs requires more work. If you are interested in having this format included, please upvote this separate request.

Hi,
Thanks for the information provided to the Illustrator team.
We are able to reproduce this issue at our end and the engineering team is currently isolating this issue further to get to the root cause. With Best Regards,
Illustrator TeamAn error occurred while saving the comment Cynthia commentedRestarting Chrome always solves this problem, but it happens a lot.

Starting from the February 2024 release, version 28.3, this option is no longer enabled by default for new documents. If you had hyphenation enabled in an existing document, Ai will respect this.

Adobe. Make It an Experience.PS: We are only referring to the issue that got introduced in CC 2018. As I can see there were few workflows that were existing even in older releases. Please log a separate request for it so that we all can track it better

An error occurred while saving the comment Cynthia commentedI never use the default Fill and Stroke tolerances of 32. These reset every time Illustrator is restarted. It would be nice for the behaviour to remember a default value that can be changed if no documents are open.

This issue is probably happening because the artboard dimensions are not appropriate for raster export (i.e. are in decimals).
If you make x and y values as the whole numbers in the transform panel (not in decimal), then the extra pixels will not be added to the exported image. That is the workaround, and it’s reported that it’s not always the case.
At the same time — Ai knows the size of artboards to be exported and yet it does not deliver the set sizes, which is not fair. The team is going to rethink the algorithm.

An error occurred while saving the comment Cynthia commentedThis problem is regularly occurring for us in the latest release of Adobe Illustrator. The text box does not need any fill or stroke applied; it may happen with any overset text.
