High Sierra (macOS 10.13) GPU rendering issues with RGB document - Intel Graphics
Illustrator 21.1.0 has issues with GPU rendering in the latest High Sierra public betas:
Paths will appear jagged and generally do not display correctly.
Altering the zoom level affects these artefacts.
Switching off GPU rendering altogether fixes the issue but this way, performance is obviously affected.
Additional Note: Works correctly in CMYK document.
the issue has been resolved by Appple in macOSX 10.13.4
Please upgrade to resolve the issue

High Sierra's GPU rendering issues with Intel Graphics in Illustrator 21.1.0 can be quite frustrating. If you're experiencing problems with RGB documents, try disabling GPU Performance in Illustrator's Preferences under 'Performance'. This often helps resolve rendering glitches. You might also want to check if you have the latest updates for both Illustrator and macOS, as they sometimes include bug fixes for these compatibility issues. If the problem persists, consider switching to software rendering as a temporary workaround.

Yeah, these glitches still happen... just in case please share your current specs and share some screenshots.
Sonoma is told to be a cursed build, causing way too many problems for Illustrator. Not that these particular ones would have not existed, but just statistically.
Illustrator was developed when processor were single-core. To make it see more than one is to completely rewrite it — potentially lethal for the app! So the team decided to approach this gradually, adding support for newer modules and steadily reworking older ones.
As for the UV’s site and Safari — can’t even test it, sorry. -

Hi Ashutosh, the issue with the jagged edges persits in Sonoma 14.4.1 and Illustrator 28.3! :-) That’s 6 years later.
Fun fact: Now on M2 Macs the CPU rendering is way faster than GPU (which is sloooooowww). Scrolling with GPU-Support is really bumpy. And lots of artefacts. The GPU on Mac Studio Ultra can push billions of pixels in realtime gaming graphics. So Illustrator is really not optimized at all! Will this be solved?
Fun fact 2: This forum doesn’t work on my Safari 17.4 anymore. :-D

I disagree with the solving comment. I'm using mojave 10.14.6 and still experience this issue.

I wanna ask if the problem has been resolved with OS 10.14 or not yet.
Thank you. -
Charles please contact Adobe support. We cannot recreate your issue in absence of a file but we feel yo are talking of an issue that needs individual care. This particular thread was about a break in Apple OS 10.13 that was fixed by Apple.
The fix here is for files that were working well on 10.12 but broke rendering on 10.13. -

I am having the same issue (jagged edges that appear on vector objects. Happens a lot when using blend modes), and it's awful.

Fixed with macOS upgrade. It was crazy to be working with this bug.

This is still not fixed and is extremely frustrating! It used to fix itself if I changed color modes but no more. What is the solution to this problem? It is significantly slowing down my productivity.

Do not update to OSX 10.13.5. Illustrator CC 2017 not responsive and very slow.. I downloaded CC 2018 to see if the problem persisted and it did. I had to restore back to 10.13.4 and that worked fine.

This is not fixed. Illustrator 22.1, and OSX 10.13.5.
A placed 1-bit image that is rotated still reproduces the issue. The same exact 1-bit placed into an Ill 2017 document, and rotated, does not produce the error.

the adobe illustrator cc2017 has different problems like:
1- Paths will appear jagged and generally do not display correctly inRGB
2- when i work on illustrator some time the computer freeze, so i can't save or quit until i restart my computer again. -
@bernardo gomez your issue would be something else other than being discussed on this thread. Please get in touch with our support
