Thanks for reporting the issue.
If you have set password only to restrict Editing,Security and Permission settings then its preview will be shown in Gmail.If you don't want to show preview then you need to apply password on Open the Document as well.
Please let us know if Gmail Preview get visible even after applying the password on Open the Document.Regards,

I observe your Work-space and do the same arrangement at my side and I observe that the issue is with previous versions as well.This is due to all non re-sizeable panels on the top(on focus), if we put re-sizeable panels on the top, issue can be solved.

I am happy to share that we have fixed this bug in our latest release – 23.0.6 which is available worldwide now.
Going forward, our goal is to fix as many top User-Voice bugs as possible and as frequently as possible. Given the nature of the fixes, some of the bugs will take a longer time to fix, but we are on it.

We are unable to reproduce the exact issue in which it is jumping to Artboard.However we have an issue in which Zooming is happening on wrong document when we are switching using ⌘+Tilde (~) to switch between files.Internal Bug ID to track the issue is AI-4207490.

This issue has been fixed in the latest version of Illustrator.
Please update Illustrator to latest version (23.0.4 on MAC & 23.0.3 on WIN) and verify the fix.

Also i want to know which Windows system you are using?
And one thing you can try to quit Illustrator,log out and log in and Launching Illustrator again after changing the display setting.Thanks,

I am glad to update that this issue was fixed in 23.0.5 release.

We are able to reproduce the issue on Windows Surface Pro 3 and Dell Touch Laptop with 2 Finger gesture but not with Touch Pad.

I got your issue and right now there is no way to open it automatically in Properties panel when the live shape is selected.
However if it is hindering your workflow you can use Transform Panel.
