    Same on:

    AI: 29.1
    Mac OS: Sequoia 15.1.1
    MBP: M4 64GB RAM

    Happens on our M1 machines as well.
    It's brutal. Another productivity killer.

    STILL NOT FIXED!

    Illustrator: 29.0
    Macbook Pro: M1 Max
    64GB RAM
    Plenty of SSD/HD space.
    MacOS 15.0.1

    Let's see how many years this bug stays around. I'm betting at least one more, but probably 3 more years.

    PROBLEM STILL EXSITS:

    Just updated to Illustrator: 27.8.1
    Macbook Pro: M1 Max
    64GB RAM
    Plenty of SSD/HD space.
    MacOS 13.4.1

    Same.
    Illustrator crashes almost every time I switch to outline mode, and when it doesn't crash (which is only 10% of the time) , I lose GPU view.

    Illustrator 27.7
    Macbook Pro: M1 Max
    64GB RAM
    Plenty of SSD/HD space.
    MacOS 13.4.1

    Steps I have taken:
    - Reinstalled 27.7 nuking all prefs — seems fine
    - Set UI to NOT Scaled
    - Set Canvas Colour to: WHITE
    - Turned on Grid
    - Turned on Outline view — CRASHES!!
    - Set Canvas Colour to: "Match Brightness" - Seems fine.

    Also tested in - Reinstalled 27.4 as well, both after nuking all prefs.

    Seems to be related to the GRID being ON, and the Canvas Colour setting to "White".

    NOT FIXED: Illustrator 29.0 — still has the issue.

    I am happy to share that we have fixed this bug in our latest release – 25.2.3 which is available worldwide now.

    Going forward, our goal is to fix as many top User-Voice bugs as possible and as frequently as possible. Given the nature of the fixes, some of the bugs will take a longer time to fix, but we are on it.

  12. Allow to filter files in Recent menu/section to include only AI documents and exclude chosen formats like PDF, JPEG, TIFF, Save a Copy, etc.

    YES! — Only show AI / AIT files please!

    When I export a bunch of JPG's from artboards, all of those JPG files are in recent items as well — which is madness.

    Illustrator version: 22.0.1:

    Reproduce:

    - With Snap to Grid ON (and snap/align to pixels off)
    - Using Artboard tool, create a new artboard.
    - Now resize that new artboard allowing snapping to align the artboard to the grid.
    - Now using the zoom tool, zoom in to see artboard is NOT accurately aligned to the grid.

    Happens when GPU acceleration is ON and OFF.
