Verified this bug was fixed with 27.9.3 92 build.

This bug is causing concern among users. They are beginning to suspect that v27.9.2 is not an updated version, but rather a modified version based on 2024 (v28).

The application name of the Mac version of Illustrator is a localized name, and the description in the “InfoPlist.strings” file where the localization is set is incorrect.

As per the comment inside, an ability to hide units for dimension objects is introduced in AI Beta build 28.3.0.47.
No more news so far on other parts of the request.

AI files generate a PDF data with the same appearance as the native data every time they are saved.
Since 2020 (version 24), there has been an increasing occurrence of anomalies in generating this PDF data. The cause was empirically speculated to be the 'Save/Export in Background' feature introduced in 2020. However, despite efforts, the triggering conditions remained elusive, leading to a prolonged inability to provide effective feedback.
One of the identified triggering conditions is related to the composite font used. There might be other triggering conditions as well.
A strong request is being made to the Illustrator development team. They are urged to set 'Save/Export in Background' to be OFF by default. Additionally, for language versions with composite font functionality, it is requested to have it OFF by default.

aiファイルは保存されるたびに、ネイティブデータと同じ外見のPDFデータを生成します。2020（24）以降、このPDFデータ生成中に異常が多発するようになりました。その原因は、2020で搭載された「バックグラウンドで保存／書き出し」機能である可能性が経験的に推測されていました。それでも発生要件を特定することが難しく、有効なフィードバックができない状況が長く続いていました。
ここに投稿した合成フォントの問題は、ようやく特定した発生要件のひとつです。他にも発生要件はあるでしょう。
Illustrator開発チームに強く要望します。「バックグラウンドで保存／書き出し」をデフォルトでOFFにするようお願いします。合成フォント機能を持つ言語版だけでもデフォルトでOFFにしていただきたいです。

The concern here is not about Type A, but the need for improvements in Type B. When the color of the effect is set to RGB(0,0,0) in RGB mode, it becomes the default color. However, this carries over to CMYK mode, causing the effect's color to be something other than CMYK(0,0,0,100). This situation could be seen as a lack of consideration for the user.

There are two types of default colors for effects.
Type A: Default color upon startup.
Type B: Default color is the most recently used color, resetting to Type A upon restart.Type A's default CMYK effect color separation issue occurred from 2020 (24) to 2022 (26), which was resolved in 2023 (27).
Type B has been a long-standing feature, where the default color is the most recent used color, irrespective of the document's RGB/CMYK color mode. This feature itself poses significant issues.

種類B：直近で使ったカラーがデフォルトとなる。再起動するとAに戻る種類AのCMYK効果デフォルトカラー4色割れは2020（24）から2022（26）まで発生。2023（27）で修正されました。
種類Bは昔からの仕様であり、ドキュメントのカラーモードがRGB/CMYKであるかに関係なく、直近に使用したカラーがデフォルトになります。この仕様自体に重大な問題が存在しています。

59 votesThe issue is believed to be fixed in the latest Beta build and is expected to be pushed into the Global Availability build at the end of July.
To ensure this indeed fixes the problem, please install the latest Beta build from CCD app and try to reproduce it, following the steps provided by Ton in a comment within the report.
Please reply back if Beta works for you or not.

When using Illustrator, we are focused on visual creative work. In this state of concentration, scrolling and panning happen unconsciously. In other words, we are not aware that we are currently scrolling or panning. This is a very important point.
In this state, sudden disappearance or appearance of guides causes unintended significant visual changes. This hinders concentration on visual creative work. We do not want to be disturbed while we are focused.
