    This behavior was not reproduced prior to version 27.x. It appears to be a bug that only occurs in 28.

    Hello all,

    The 'Apply to all' checkbox has been brought back in the Replace missing link dialogue.

    'Apply to all' checkbox was removed when we introduced the 'Auto-relink' (search for missing links in this folder) functionality, as we though 'auto-relink' is going to take care of the 'replace all' workflow as well. But it didn't work as expected in few cases as pointed out by some of you.

    Hence, with the latest release V29.2 (full roll out happens on Jan 9), we have decided to revert to the earlier experience whereby we are bringing back 'apply to all' checkbox and rolling back the 'auto-relink functionality.

    Because of conflicts, both of these functionality cannot co-exist unless we make some significant changes to the relinking experience.

    As we understand, 'replace all' was a important workflow for most of you, so we decided to quickly bring it back while working on the overall…

    I tried Illustrator (Beta) 28.6 578
    with the example calendar data I showed you yesterday.
    It seems to be working well. It will take a little more time to scrutinize the deep directories, etc.

    It might be a good idea to subdivide the thread into smaller threads for more concrete solutions.
    who've only collected 6 VOTES, and whose comfortable with not being subjected to useless and intemperate remarks by someone who was drowning in receiving only 15 e-mails a day.

    The solution is pushed into Global Availability build 28.6.

    PDF is now available as type in File > Export > Export As dialog.


    However, File > Adobe PDF Presets menu, similar to one InDesign has, to allow even quicker export, is absent still.

    If tweaking the Preferences > User Interface > UI Scaling slider does not help to solve this problem, please make some screenshots or a short video of the problem, and post in a reply, along with your exact specs for the OS and the monitor used, for the team to try to reproduce it.

    Our work is not limited to the creation of artwork.
    When used in the creation of advertisements for pages and flyers, many of them have defined layout dimensions. In such cases, we often create a guide first. Objects are not yet available.
    In this case, we rely on the artboard boundaries and guides for scrolling & animated zooming. If I can't see anything, I am at a loss.
