This problem is reportedly fixed in the latest Beta Build 30.5.0.18. You can update and test if it’s truly gone.
However, please not there are some known issues with this particular build:
- Opening recent files from Home Screen Recent section is not working (opening recent files from File > Open Recent Files works fine).
- Generative Expand does not open its own HUD when used after Generate Vector, Generative Shape Fill, or Sketch to Vector. Instead, the previous tool's HUD is displayed and Generative Expand remains inaccessible. Workaround: Ungroup the generative content first, then apply Generative Expand.
- Half of Astute Graphics plugins can’t get loaded. Both teams are now aware of the problem.

現在、手元のベータ版ビルドは 30.5.64 （2025年8月）のままで、以降Creative Cloudデスクトップアプリからはプレリリース版のみ提供されているようです…自分の環境だけでしょうか。ひとまず発端となったフォーラムのスレッドへは追記しておきました。

An error occurred while saving the comment テキストオブジェクト全体を拡大・縮小すると設定値をキープしたままとなり、調整が台無しになります。
以下の検証手順の動画を添付します。
〈手順〉
1. 縦書きテキストオブジェクトを用意
2. 縦中横にしない文字のベースラインシフトを 10pt に設定
3. 残りの文字を選択して縦中横設定。「左右位置」を 10pt に設定
4. テキストオブジェクトを複製して200%拡大〈結果〉
200％拡大したことによりベースラインシフト量は 20pt になるが
縦中横設定の左右位置は 10pt のままになり、見た目が大きく崩れる〈望まれる結果〉
縦中横の位置調整も拡大・縮小に追従することAn error occurred while saving the comment Verified with version 28.4.1 but no improvement.

The issue seems to visible at our end after closing the Illustrator and reopening the file. However, it is just the value does not get updated in the pop up panel. The transformation change on the object happens fine and is reflected properly in the properties panel as well. Let us know if you are experience similar behavior or not.
An error occurred while saving the comment 理解しました。手順に沿ってWの値を入力、tabでフィールドを移動したときは正常動作に見えますが、Hで何もせずenterキーで変形を確定した瞬間に異常が現れますね。
An error occurred while saving the comment EgolはWIndowsで再現できないと言っていますが、自分も手元のMac環境で再現までに要領を得ません。
Illustrator 29.8.5, 30.2.1, macOS 14.8.3 で検証しています。始める前に環境設定をリセットしています。
手順2の際、縦横比を固定（リンク）のボタンは初期状態ではoffになっています。
これをコントロールパネル上、または W をクリックして出現した変形パネル、どちらでonにした場合でも手順4の結果は得られず、縦横比は正常に保持されました。手順の中で、何か大事な要素が抜けているのでしょうか？

This functionality has been released with v30.0. You can also double-click the name and rename the artboard directly on canvas.
You can disable this in Preferences > Selection & Anchor Display, with Show Artboard name on canvas option.

An error occurred while saving the comment This request has been RESOLVED, but I have not been able to confirm any improvements in all the versions installed on my PC right now. 27.9.6(2023), 28.7.10(2024) and 29.8.2(2025) all do not work. Of course, the beta version is also available.

I previously reported that
resizing, undoing, and redoing at unique reference points would cause this kind of problem. It was fixed a few years ago.
I never imagined that just slightly changing the procedure would cause such a hassle again... -

The preference reset function did not improve, but improved by discarding the entire ~/Library/Preferences/Adobe Illustrator 30 Settings folder.
This alone makes no sense, so I took the time to change the file and restarted it many times to identify the file that caused it.
It is "RecentColor".
If you throw away this one, it will return to normal behavior.
The "Recently Used Color" at the top of the color panel is recorded here.
If the spot color information is included here, it seems that a problem will occur.
I was able to improve it by deleting blocks that contain spot color information in text editor. Please give it a try.
"Recently used colors" is a function implemented from Illustrator 2025. In v29.8.7, we were able to test the intentional creation of spot colors and confirm the problem.

環境設定のリセット機能では改善せず、~/Library/Preferences/Adobe Illustrator 30 Settings フォルダを丸ごと捨てることで改善しました。
これだけでは筋が悪いので時間をかけてファイルを入れ替えては何度も再起動し、原因のファイルを特定しました。
“RecentColor” です。
この1つだけ捨てれば正常な挙動に復帰します。
これにはカラーパネル上部の「最近使用したカラー」が記録されています。
ここにスポットカラーの情報が含まれていると不具合が発生するようです。
テキストエディタでスポットカラーの情報が記述されているブロックを削除することで改善できました。
どうか試してみてください。
「最近使用したカラー」はIllustrator 2025から実装された機能ですね。
v29.8.7でも意図的にスポットカラーを作成するテストを行い、不具合を確認することができました。
