  1. Bullets and Numbering characters disappear when outlining font

    As per my title - If I use bullets and numbering in a text box, when I outline the text in the text box the bullets and numbering completely disappear.

  2. Illustrator 2023 crashes when clicking the scroll bar in the font selection dialog

    Ever since I installed Illustrator 2023 the entire program will hang when using the mouse, trackpad or wacom pen to select the scroll bar in the font selection drop down menu

    Fonts can still be chosen using the cursor keys to navigate up and down. Previous versions of Illustrator are still working as expected so I haven't been able to track down a corrupt font.

    I have tried a uninstall/reinstall and resetting of preferences. Nothing seems to work.

    This is on an M1 Mac (but also has replicated on an Intel Macbook Pro both on MacOS Monterey.

  3. Quotation marks with extra space in latest update? How to solve?

    Hello. In latest Illustrator version closing Quotation marks has unwanted extra space. Is there any solution to the problem?

  4. CC 2022 v.26.5.3以前で合成フォントを使用したAIファイルがCC 2023 v27.5で開きません

    OS: Windows11 Pro 22H2
    アプリのバージョン: Illustrator CC 2023 ver.27.5

    問題が発生したときに実行していた手順:
    Illustrator CC 2022 ver.26.5.3以前に合成フォントを使用して保存したAIファイルをIllustrator CC 2023 v27.5で開こうとしました。

    想定していた結果:
    過去に合成フォントを使用して保存したAIファイルが最新の環境でも問題なく開く状態

    実際の結果:
    ウィンドウのタイトルバーに「応答なし」と表示され、アプリケーションがフリーズするため、AIファイルを開くことができません。
    Adobe Illustrator 26 Settingsフォルダから27 Settingsフォルダへ合成フォントを移植しましたが、改善しませんでした。

  5. Opentype-SVG no longer rendered correctly in 2023

    I have some Opentype-SVG fonts that render correctly in MacOS with Pages/Number/Keynote, MS Word/Excel/Powerpoint, in Chrome, and LibreOffice (Mac/Linux). That's several font rendering engines.

    In Illustrator 2023, however, they were rendered stretched horizontally (as if the SVG occupy the full space ignoring side-bearings). The spacing issues is even worse for SVG glyphs with standard ligatures --- the SVG occupies only the space of one character.

    I have used OT-SVG fonts in Illustrator before, and I don't recall seeing strange behaviour like this. Could this please be fixed?

  6. Illustrator 2023 - 27.5 Arabic Right to left alignment issue

    Hi, I am using illustrate 2023 [27.5] / MacOS Ventura 13.3.1 - Mac mini M2 Pro. Here we are facing an issue in Arabic text alignment. As per your help, when we paste Arabic, it detects automatically the language and when we select the language alignment and orientation would change according to the language. But here, even if we select the above steps the orientation remains exactly like English. Older versions we had a manual text orientation [Right/ Left] tool on the bottom side of Paragraph settings box, now only "Hyphenate" is available. Attached screenshot of the same. In the…

  7. illustratorだけ正常にフォントが表示されない

    TTEditで自作したフォントを10個インストールしましたが、Turetypeの日本語フォントのみillustratorでだけ表示されません。フォント名は連番で作成していますが（例：WA-01、WA-02など）環境にないフォントとしてフォントファミリーとして認識してしまします。
    手動でフォントを変更することは可能ですが、他のPCでは同じフォントと認識しません。
    Excelでは表示されます。

    PC：Windows10 21H2
    illustrator：26.0、27.0どちらでもダメでした
    実行：フォントリストの再作成、フォント名の英語表記ON/OFF、環境設定ファイルの再作成、Adobeのログアウト、PCの初期化、日本語IMEの旧バージョンON/OFF、Adobeの必須ファイルへ直接フォントファイルを入れてのインストール、Windows/Fontsへコピーしてのインストール

    いろいろ試しましたが変わりませんでした。
    PCも変更してみましたがダメでした。

    まず、フォントリストが削除出来ませんでした。

    解決策があれば教えていただきたいです。

  8. Lost partial fraction capabilities for OpenType

    It seems that Illustrator has lost partial fraction OpenType capabilities recently. I was able to create various types of fractions using the 'Fractions' option in the OpenType menu. As of recently, this capability has since been limited to basic fractions (1/4, 1/2, 3/4).
    Just to note that I did not change the font. I've been using the same font in both cases (Myriad Pro).
    Currently on Illustrator 2023 (Ver. 27.5).

  10. Action to find replace T1 fonts

    Since Illustrator no longer supports T1 fonts I would love to be able to make an action to find/replace font associated with common fonts that I used previously to current fonts that I now have active. The action however only opens the find/replace dialog and doesn't complete the request automatically. It makes you reselect the replacement font. (even though in the script dialog it shows the step of find (x) font, replace (x) font, change all yes).

  11. Font not automatically updating embedded Font

    I am using an exported PDF from Autodesk Inventor where there is an embedded Font included but not showing i original PDF.
    I use Illustrator for Finetuning the PDF and also for updating the font.
    this last thing normally goes automatically when opening, Illustrator changes/updates it directly.
    Since today it didn't work, I was frustrated but then I tried downgrading to 27.1 and this did the trick.

    Please can you get this back straight and repair this.

  13. Text selection issue with threaded text frames

    Trying to select text in the second column of a threaded text frame is impossible. The selection always jumps to select the text in the previous text frame. In the video example I uploaded - I'm simply trying to select just the top paragraph in the middle column - but it keeps highlighting the text in the linked text frame on the left column. I can never just select the top 3 lines in the middle column.

  14. Bug Report: Chinese Character Multiplication and Overlapping in Adobe AI Version 27.3.1

    The latest version of AI, version 27.3.1, has a bug that causes Chinese characters to multiply and overlap when typing without pressing Enter. This issue was not present when reverting to the previous version. Please fix this bug as soon as possible.

  17. Textrahmen verkettet sich beim Bewegen

    Betriebsystem: macOS Monterey 12.6.3
    Illustrator Version: 27.2

    Mir ist leider noch unklar welche Schritte genau zu dem Problem führen.
    Ich arbeite aktuell in großen Arbeitsflächen.

    Manchmal wenn ich Texte verschieben möchte, lassen diese sich nicht verschieben, sondern verketten sich einfach mit dem obersten rechten Punkt der Arbeitsfläche. Sie lassen sich dann gar nicht mehr verschieben.

    Cmd-Z löst das problem nur kurzweilig - manchmal auch gar nicht. Dann bleibt die Verkettung bestehen, während sich andere vor der Verkettung stattgefundene Schritte Rückgängig machen.
    Wenn ich Illustrator beende und neu starte, ist der Fehler für einige Zeit wieder behoben.

  18. Please repair selection of path text objects in a group

    When text on a path is part of a group, it is no longer possible to select and delete it.
    In previous versions Alt-Shift-Direct Selection allowed to select the path text and delete it, but in the latest version, this tries to delete the path from the text object, which results in 'Can't clear the Objects'.

  19. Characters in font doesn't show up in Illustrator, but visible for that font in Acrobat

    Editing PDF in illustrator.

    I dont know why, but the Latin and also Latin Extended font in document is throwing me missing characters in illustrator.

    Font: Lobster (fonts.google.com)

    I havent had any problem with this yet. Any tips?

    Also I had a word "wellness". "welnes" was in correct font and another "s" was missing character...

  20. Illustrator 27.3.1 Typing bug

    Hi all, its a weird bug on Illustrator 27.3.1 which were lot unstable issue of version.

    as video u can see :

    1. When I typed 1st word「背」it fine !
    2. But when I typed second word 著，illustrator just kept add my 1st word（被：its a same prononciation but different look in chinese ) on the right side

    🌟 Before 27.3.1 , all good ! this version caused software lot lagging too !

    Laptop Version：
    MacOS 13.2.1 (for now）
    Apple Silicon Chip M1 Max
    Illustrator ver: 27.3.1
    Type name : Noto Sans CJK TC
