I have now reinstalled Illustrator and installed the prerelease. No change. Still get this message. And the saving of files still take forever..

Same here. Only appeared since updating to 2020 yesterday. Running Catalina, but the only thing that has changed prior to the errors appearing is the new Illustrator update.

This bug was fixed with the release of version 22.1 (see previous bug report: http://bit.ly/2XDoBhv) but has crept back in with version 24.0.

Every time I save it pops up a warning the the Illustrator file was modified outside of Illustrator. It is NOT TRUE. Fix this absolutely frustrating JUNK WARNING!

Happens with MAC too! Getting message every 2 min or so. Tried restarting both Illustrator and computer; did NOT fix. Happens when working from server AND off laptop as well.

Same issue, Illustrator 2020 on Mojave. Has other issues since updating to 2020 such as workspace files corrupted and Photoshop crashing. Other strange buggy things happening.

I am running Catalina 10.15.1 with Illustrator 2020 v. 24.0 and having this issue a lot. Doesn't matter if I'm saving to my desktop or to the server.
I'm really tired of seeing it when *I* created the the file and no one else has access to it.
