Unable to export PNG higher than 72ppi
"Export As" command will not export PNG files any higher than 72 ppi. Even when I set it to export at 300 ppi, it still exports at 72.
Please fix this!
Please update to version 22.0.1 to get the fix for this issue.
Thank You.
Warm Regards,
Ashutosh Chaturvedi | Sr. Quality Engineering Manager – Illustrator

How does one "kindly clean your preferences"? I see nothing in the preferences to address this issue.

Since update to new version, export to PNG is low resolution and size is inaccurate (10pt type exports to more like 7pt type)

Adobe Illustrator CC 2018 on Windows 10 (64bit)
Export As... won't export above 72ppi
Export settings were 300dpi as I have done on a daily basis for years. And yet every single time the output file ends up at 72ppi.
That is unacceptable - we need to be able to export high res raster files out of Illustrator! -

I am also experiencing this issue right after I just updated my Creative Cloud Illustrator to 22.0.0 today (10/18/17). I cannot export to .png higher than 72 ppi.
1. It is happening to all my files (tried several business cards I've made)
2. MacBook Pro with High Sierra
I will email the info to you as mentioned with the original poster. -

Illustrator 22.0.0 - Mac OS
1. Open an Illustrator File
2. Fit to selected art board (die line).
3. File > Export > Export As > PNG (using Artboard) > Change resolution to 600 ppi on transparent background & Type Optimized (Hinted) for Anti-aliasing > OK
4. The file will not export out higher then 72 ppi
