Illustrator 2018 Crashes
I have Surface Studio, 32 Gig, Windows 10. Today I installed the CC Updates and now Illustrator crashes every 2 or 3 minutes. I uninstalled Illustrator and reinstalled it, but the crashes continue. Finally in desperation I uninstalled Illustrator 2018 and reinstalled Illustrator 2017. At least now Illustrator is stable.
I sure would like to know what to do to fix the problem. You know it wouldn't be a bad idea if one could reach support with install problems.

I'm on an iMac, 2017, running 10.13.2 - experiencing the same issue. I called support and they told me this was a known issue with files stored in iCloud, Dropbox, etc. However, I'm having the same issue even with files on my local machine (opening from downloads folder etc.)
Other Creative Suite products (2018 versions) seem to be working fine - it's just Illustrator. Would love a workaround because I used this program daily. I can create new files, but can not open files.
FYI - saw the request to create a crash dump - but I'm not getting any error, just the spinning wheel of death and the program permanently hung up until I force quit.

Mine crashes every time I try to create a new document or open an existing one... so it's unusable basically.

Similar issues. When I use Illustrator‘s 3D effect, my mac pro just got crash, I used mac pro 2016

Similar issues. Horribly laggy, terribly long boot & save times, app glitches on save and window/view changes. May be Windows 10 or CC 2018, because my 2012 MacBook Pro running CC 2017 could edit the exact same project files smoothly and quickly. Specs: Brand new XPS 15 Win10 7th gen i7 quad-core 2.8GHz, GPU GTX 1050 32G RAM 1TB SSD

Illustrator CC18 has been crashing about every other time I Save AS EPS files, and when it does, it freezes any other open CC programs. This is getting annoying...

My photoshop and indesign works fine after I did the update, but I have a problem with my illustrator 2018 update. How can I fix this? I have to work daily with my adobe programs. My laptop automatically sends reports if I have a crash. But I can't even open my Illustrator. Hope it will fixed very quickly. I work with a HP pavilion x360, i5. I will deinstal illustrator now and hope it will work fine after downloading it.

I forgot to add that Illustrator 2018 works fine on my windows 7 computer.
