Cursor jumps while editing Font Family name
When I try to change font name from HeliosCondBlackC to HeliosBlackC (both are installed), erasing part of the name, CC2018 moves cursor to the end (while CC2017 does not)
I also have 'Entire Font name' option chosen (and never change it), but cursor still jumps to the end.
I am happy to share that we have fixed this bug in our release – 23.1 which is available worldwide now.
Going forward, our goal is to fix as many top User-Voice bugs as possible and as frequently as possible. Given the nature of the fixes, some of the bugs will take a longer time to fix, but we are on it.
You can update to the latest release using Creative Cloud desktop App: https://helpx.adobe.com/in/creative-cloud/help/creative-cloud-updates.html
Thank you for all the feedback. Keep it coming!

Hello, Ankit and others.
I have almost the same description, but different recording.
It shows how I try to change font name from HeliosCondBlackC to HeliosBlackC (both are installed) but when I try to select or erase part of this name, CC2018 moves cursor to the end.
I also have 'Entire Font name' option chosen (and never change it), but cursor still jumps to the end.
I can't attach it here, so I have to report it as a new bug. -
Hi Tim,
Thanks for raising your concern. By looking at the video it seems you have selected the " Search First Word Only" in the font list menu and it is working as designed.
I would request you to try the " Search Entire Font Name" by clicking at the magnifier glass image drop down in the font menu & select the "Search Entire Font Name" and see if this resolves your issue as a workaround.

Hello,
I am using Illustrator CC 2017.
I am having a problem using the font search menu. Any time I try to search for a font using the font search bar, the cursor jumps from the end of whatever I'm typing to somewhere in the middle of the word I'm typing.
