Disappearing an outline size diameter of a brush tool
When you just launch the Adobe Illustrator, you can see the outline size diameter of the cursor of brush/blob brush tools, but when you have drawn something the outline disappears , you can see only an icon of the brush and no clue what size is currently on.

Hello there, has Adobe figured this out yet? I am a graphics teacher and I have 14 students and 6 of them have that disappearing brush stroke guide. How can this be? Is it a glitch? Is it an option? WHAT? We shouldn't have to debug our own Apps. If you can't figure it out—can you at least let us know so that we don't all lose our hair. Thanks

I can confirm this is happening on multiple brand new iMacs with Mojave OS, running Illustrator 22.1.
We use this version exclusively right now for our additional tools and presets, so it would be nice to have a fix without needing to update to Illustrator 2019.

Please let us disable brush size preview for calligraphy brushes in illustrator. You added it to show that you can dynamically change the brush size with the bracket keys (like in photoshop) but it is slow on most machines and the slowness messes up my brush strokes.

Cathy H, I think you should update AI to the latest version - CC 2019 (23.0.3). Good luck!

Alss having this problem. Just bought a brand new IMAC running Mojave 10.14.3 and Illustrator CC 22.1 . Please fix, for my applications the point sizes have to be pretty precise and I'm constantly sizing the circle diameter up and down on the fly as I draw; without that circle I can't see what I'm doing.

In my case, the outdated version of the Adobe Illustrator didn't work perfectly with the latest version of MacOS (Mojave), so I updated AI to the latest version and it worked well.
