Illustrator doesn't open

I simply can't open Illustrator anymore. The screenshot below shows how Illustrator appears when it's open. I can only see the top bar, none of the actual interface. I'm working on MacOS Mojave Version 10c.14.1 Illustrator version 23.01

I even tried uninstalling and installing it again but nothing changed.

    Hi, having the same issue.
    As a subscription service, I definitely expect that I shouldn't have to uninstall and reinstall a program that was working fine a day ago.
    Please explain WHY this is happening. I expect a solution ASAP.

    Thank you so much for your reply.
    I uninstalled it and ticked not to remember my preferences and reinstalled again and it worked.

    Who knows what was the issue. It definitely freaked me out.
