Illustrator extremely slow when saving

Illustrator extremely slow when saving - 2.3 GHz Intel Core i5 / Illustrator CC 2019 / expected 2 second save and more like 4 minutes

It seems to have started after updating the mac.

    this is now far outdated and should be removed.

    Same here. Starting is noticably faster, but saving is extremely slow. (Illustrator 24.0.1, macOS 10.15.1)

    Saving is so slow now. And I ALWAYS get a warning about it still saving.

    I am having same issue. I have not updated my iOS, but I am running v24.0 of Illustrator
