clipping mask Bug/glitch
Hello.
I'm using illustrator CC (25.1) and MacOS 11.1.
When I use clipping mask, sometimes Illustrator shows a duplicate shape of that mask or shows what's inside the clipping mask (that should be hidden). When I scroll through the artboards, the clipping mask start to blink like a glitch effect.
If you look the at the attached files you can see at the top, a clipping mask with some brown shapes inside. When I scroll down, another rectangle shows up.

I encourage every user who has this problem to go and vote, since it’s the only way to make this thing fixed. If you know someone who has the same problem — ask them to vote too.
Remember to provide your OS and GPU details, since the bug is a computer-specific one, because it happens only for some of us.

Yeah this glitch has been around for years and has never gone away. Safe to assume it will never be fixed. I work in illustrator every single day, and could list many regularly occuring issues in addition to this that have been around longer than I can remember. Posting in this forum is a waste of time in my experience. I give Adobe another year or two before Affinity is professional enough to switch permanently. No amount of worthless added features (looking at you intertwine) or cloud functionality being shoved down our throats will make up for the time Ive lost trying to resolve glaring issues. Is this issue going to be resolved? I can barely see my work due to the glitchy clipping mask!!! I am using AI's lastest version 27.1.1

This is still happening for me after latest update. Only happens in GPU preview. Maddening.

i get the same thing but also just for filled, solid shapes (closed). Also things are constantly looking like they are not clipped in some areas....extremely annoying.

I have the same problem. clipping masks change when I zoom in on the artboard. Glad I'm not the only one! (Illustrator v 25.2.1, Mac OS 11.1)

I have an image with a clipping path which works in Illustrator 24.3, but turns all white in Illustrator 25.2 Could be related to this clipping mask bug. Running macOS Mojave.
