Glitchy Application

My computer runs very smoothly with every other application, including other Adobe applications. However, as soon as I open Illustrator, my entire system lags and stutters constantly, making it impossible to get work done with the application. This needs to be fixed and run smoothly.

    • What version of Illustrator are you using?
    • What operating system and version are you running?
    • Does the lag start immediately upon opening Illustrator, or only after performing certain actions?
    • Are there any error messages or crash reports?
    • Have you tried resetting Illustrator preferences or reinstalling the application?
