  1. Gaussian Blur Bug

    When applying gaussian blur to a shape, the effect looks "pixely" in various zoom percentages. The screenshot shows 100% and it does not look right. If I zoom in to 150% it looks fine, but at 200% it looks strange again. This did not happen in CC 2018.

    Can we get this fixed? Thanks!

  2. Zoom Blur gets cutoff.

    At high amounts, the blur effect from zoom blur gets cut off (specifically with text, whether the text is rasterized or not. I haven't tested other shapes). It's related to the "add x amount of space around objects" setting (though no number actually fixes it. It is easy to see when you compare the effect in Illustrator to the effect in Photoshop.

    You guys really need to work on Illustrator's effect system. It's the one thing no other vector app has, but some things don't work or aren't effective because we have less control than we do in Photoshop.

  3. Pucker bug

    The pucker creates white triangles at the bottom of the artwork. It seems to export to jpg as it is supposed to, but the vector artwork displays incorrectly.

  4. Drop Shadow modal will not load, for new or existing shadows, crashes Illustrator CC 23.0.2

    Drop Shadow menu will not load upon trying to apply a new drop shadow, or edit existing drop shadows. Software drops to 0% CPU, and software will not respond to any inputs. requiring me to close Illustrator via Task Manager.

  5. "Twist" effect doesn't work on horizontal or vertical lines

    I'm trying to to "twist" a single line () using the Effects panel, but the line only shows twisting when the effect is applied and then rotated diagonally.

  7. 3D Extrude and Bevel - Rough color transitions

    The 3D extrude and bevel doesn't seem to handle transitions between curved surfaces and straight surfaces well. There's a very rough color transition in the resulting 3D render where one would expect a smooth transition. See attached for an example.

  8. Drop shadow rendering/applying inaccurately

    BUG: Drop Shadow Effect is rendering or being applied inaccurately (see screenshot)

    This is constant between multiple files.

  9. Structure fillings changing back to standard with copy and paste

    when copying a dawing filled with structures (textile) – it changes fillings after copied and pasted. thats new and its hyjacking my daily work ; ) ... now I have to "handfill" the right structures in new copies ; ) ... pleeeeeease bug-fix : )

    1. mac OS High Sierra Version 10.13.4 + latest version illustrator
    2. Fill an object with personal textile patterns (structures) copy and paste

  10. Stroke weight reverts to previous scale when embedding after rotating a graphic.

    AI CC 22.1

    I had an linked .pdf at 10% scale, which I rotated 90 degrees, then scaled up by 1000%, then I embedded the file. The strokes in the artwork reverted back to 10% size. If I repeat the procedure, but do not rotate the file first, then the stoke retains the enlarged size.

  11. Extrude and bevel

    Trying to use 3d/extrude and bevel on a mbp 15 and the computer freezes until I cancel. Is it possible the window is showing beyond my screen? (had it connected to a monitor earlier, but restarted 3 times!)

  14. No fill no stroke rectangle in Illustrator CC 2018 on a PC has an appearance on it and it shouldn't

    When you try to make and use a no fill no stroke rectangle (in Illustrator CC 2018 on a PC) and attempt to use it to define a pattern piece or a brush (so you can create an overlap) the rectangle doesn't work! If you select it and, from the Appearance panel flyout menu, Reduce to basic appearance then it works. So, clearly some appearance is on the shape which isn't visible but which is causing it to fail. This happens on both my PCs and one of my student's PCs (they originally drew my attention to this). I can't…

  15. Illustrator crashes when using the appearance panel or styles and effects.

    Illustrator CC 2018 crashes with the blue screen of death especially when I am working on the appearance panel or effects drop down menu. Illustrator simply freezes, promoting that is not responding and in 5-10 seconds the system crashes. Please help! Need to meet deadlines.

  16. Effects on objects same and different colour issues

    Illustrator 2018 CC 22.0.1
    Mac OS El Capitan 10.11.6

    As per video, when setting multiple objects with the same colour (Global or not) and then applying any Effect, there seems to be no Effect applied where it worked in previous versions of Illustrator. There also seems to be no effects sometimes on objects with different colours.

  17. Trying to update to Illustrator 22 but I don't seem to ge the option to do so

  18. different line thickness for rotated and unroted objects

    I combined 2 horizontal bars with one vertical bar in the middle, resembling the Latin 'I'. Bar thickness was 7pix. In fields of many of these objects the unrotated I's look like having thicker bars compared to the rotated, there the bars are slim. Aliasing errors?

  19. Shadows Render as Boxes on Re-Open

    Illustrator 21.1.0 shadow effects render out as boxes on re-open. Effect is lost and cannot be recovered.

  20. 3D omits fill when rendering objects

    3D habitually doesn't render objects properly - typically by missing off the fill. Here's a simple example attached.
