Ray tracing cuts off ends of 3D strokes with round caps
When using the 3D effect on an object with strokes, and choosing to render using ray tracing, it abruptly cuts off the end of many strokes (with round end cap already applied).

Setting Opacity twice wrongly affects the CMYK values on effects underneath
(2019 Mac Pro - Sequoia 15.6.1 - Illustrator 29.8.2)
Draw a box, fill it with 25% black, apply an effect such as Blur through the Appearance Panel.
On a new layer, draw another box which intersects the previous box. Make this new box 50% Magenta. Set it to Darken.
Select the newly created layer and change the blending mode on the entire layer. Set it to Darken as well.
View Separations Preview. Black only. You will notice that the MAGENTA box has intensified the BLACK plate in the areas where it intersects.

Drop Shadows and Outer Glows not working right
Upgraded to v30 (64 bit) Drop shadows do not generate or display properly- they are either missing or show sharp edges even with a high fade. Both Drop Shadows and Outer Glow effects take a very long time to render and often lock up the program or Windows (Win11) completely so a reboot is needed. This is happening on relatively simple objects of a small size, I use these effects a lot and never had a problem with it like this before, even with large complex objects. 3D objects don’t update
When you click an extruded object, that you have deselected and want to edit again, the change you do, doesn't seem to update. If I use a slider, it remembers the setting, but the viewport doesn't update for example the extrude depth. I regards all settings though.

I can't Knockout in a clip mask
After asking my friend, I found that this problem seems to only exist on Mac systems.
[p1] Establish a clipping mask group, check Knockout;
[p2] Drawing shapes within the clipping mask group reduces transparency, but does not have the knockout effect.
[p3] But if I remove the clipping group and change it to a regular group, I can achieve knockout effect.
[p4] But previewing in the navigator panel is normal, and Transparency Flattener is also normal.

Applying a material to an extruded object says it’s not enough RAM
I apparently don't have enough RAM to do this. I'm trying to add a material to the border of the left file, it's a fill not a stoke... I have 96GB of RAM.... I am apparently using 26GB of memory. 70 Gb of RAM Should really be enough for almost anything I would think. Please let me know if there's a way I can use these tools if not I'll have to go back to my client and say "Adobe can't do it" once again.

Gaussian Blur preview is slow to calculate
Gaussian Blur is just so difficult to use, and preview NEVER works.
When it's activated, to make a change on the objects or font that it is applied to, requires that I always turn it off first and turn it back on later. There is always a long delay for it to appear. The Gaussian blur needs to be redesigned so it is as dynamic and powerful as the feature in Photoshop.

Applying 3D effects crashes Ai, with errors from Geometry3D module
These constant bugs in every update are really infuriating.
When applying 3D effects (e.g., extrude or inflate), Illustrator 2025 v29.6.1 on macOS 14.5 (M4 Pro, 24GB RAM) crashes immediately.
Crash report shows repeated errors from Geometry3D module and abort() called in main thread.Steps to reproduce:
1. Create a shape (e.g., rectangle or text)
2. Apply 3D > Extrude or Inflate
3. Sometimes applying materials also causes crash
4. Illustrator immediately crashes without savingmacOS Version: macOS Sonoma 14.5

塗りの線幅が縮小すると幅が変わってしまう
図形や文字の幅をアピアランス→塗りを指定→パスのオフセットで
幅を変更しています。v29.61と29.6でイラレを使用すると
縮小などをした際に幅の比率が変わってしまいます。(線幅と効果拡大縮小もチェック済み)
※線で作成した図形や文字は比率を守ってくれます
29.51を使用すると問題なく拡大縮小ができます。

El gráfico de un objeto 3D se mueve con el objeto
Al colocar un gráfico en un objeto 3D, es muy complicado ajustar su posición porque siempre se coloca en el centro y se mueve junto con el objeto.

Wrong appearance of Drop Shadow effect with text object (non-English characters).
Wrong appearance of Drop Shadow effect with text object. It looks like effect use incorrect regional standards settings separate from the text itself causing the shadow looks like complete other characters .
Also, if you turn off BLUR in DROP SHADOW, the shadow becomes normal. And this does not happen with all fonts.

Using Inflate with 3D & Materials gives a [Clr?] error
Ever since it was introduced, I haven't been able to access the new 3D & Materials (only the classic version). With any attempt I make to eg. inflate I get this error message: 'The operation cannot complete because of an unknown error [Clr?]'. I use Illustrator 29.6.1 on a Mac Mini M1.

Can't pick colors with eyedropper on groups
The title... I can't pick colors with the eyedropper on grouped objects where the color is applied to the group. If I ungroup, the fill and stroke disappears from the object. This is so annoying.

Object extruded in perspective with 3D and Materials renders with split non-matching tiles
I just want to know what is happening with the messed up preview. I get a correct preview when moving a slider but a FUBAR one when released.

3D Effects dithering in Illustrator for MacOS
I'm noticing in Illustrator version 29.3.1 in MacOS Sequoia 15.3.1 a graphics problem and dithering of objects that have a 3D effect applied. Specifically, I'm using the 'Inflate' effect and am seeing objects sometimes as dithered or pixelated and others that are smooth and normal. I can temporarily smooth the dither if I move the object on the screen, but then other objects with the same effect can have dithers. I'm using a MacBook ProM4 with 48GB and also two 4K 32" monitors. If I move the Illustrator window to another screen, the dithering still remains on some objects unless…
