  1. Adobe illustrator does not display acute mark for cyrillic fonts

    Illustrator does not display acute mark for cyrillic characters. I can copy and paste something like "коты́" from EditText or from web browser, but in illustrator document acute will not displayed no matter which font will be used.

    This is very strange bug, because acute marks works in font selector preview (see screenshot)

    iMac Retina 5K 27" late 2015, macOS 10.14.3, 4Ghz i7 32Gb Rum, AMD Radeon R9 M395X 4Gb.

  2. Fonts not synching across licenses on two laptops

    My fonts (not from typekit) aren't synching across the licenses of two laptops - so if I want to work on a file from Dropbox I can't as the fonts are missing on the laptop I didn't create the file on. Defeats the purpose of being able to have AI on two laptops.

  5. text change when opening in Illustrator CC 2019

    Illustrator 23.0.1 on Mac OS 10.12.6
    I have issues when I open a document that was created in Illustrator CC2017 in CC 2019. It seems that the text spacing is different, so sometimes some characters are changing to the next line!
    See example exact same document between CC 2017 and CC 2019

  6. Vectorise text doesn't work on text mask

    There's a bug in Illustrator (all versions MacOS 10.12.6):
    when there's a non-vectorised text mask in a file and you do select all -> vectorise text, the non-vectorised text mask will not be vectorised.
    Then when you re-open the file on a computer without the active fonts, it won't give you a warning that there's a missing font!
    Only when you click on the mask it will say that there's a font missing.

  7. Type Tool Craziness

    The latest update to Illustrator CC seems to have completely rendered the type tool useless. It's not stable, it has trouble selecting text. It has trouble staying active. Is this a compatibility issue with the touch pad? If need be, I can create a screen recording of all the craziness it's doing.

    Using a MacBook Pro 2018 with 32gb Ram

  8. Type on Circle Path Centers at 45º

    When I type on a circular path, something I've done a million times, it now centers at 45º instead of 90... despite anchor points at the cardinal NESW.

  9. Letter outlines distorting bug

    In type, I noticed that some curve points looked like they had 'kinked'.
    But checking the Glyphs font master and the generated font, all was fine.
    Strange thing is that in Illustrator the actual vector line is correct (no kink, in highlighted blue on the attached image) but the black-filled area DOES have a kink (see the version where I added a magenta outline - the circle indicates a kink).

  10. General Performance Issues and Font Issues

    The Issue that I'm having see screenshots happens randomly in adobe applications like Illustrator.

    I followed the instruction the adobe support gave me with the link, but there where no issue so I send you the last step, more details. Re-install fonts or Creative Cloud etc. don't solve the problem. I have this problems here and there since more than a year now.

  12. 🐛 Illustrator CC2018 doesn't show certain font styles while Adobe Xd does.... [BLOCKER!!!!]

    The font style is visible in all tools but not in Illustrator and Photoshop. What is more than annoying... A hotfix would be nice because it's definitively a colossal blocker!

  14. Wrong font preview for RTL languages

    There are a few problems with the new fonts preview in the last version of Illustrator.
    1. Even though 'Selected Text' preview option is selected the preview shows first five Hebrew alphabet letters instead.
    2. This happens weather the text box is selected or the text itself.
    3. Sometimes the 'Selected Text' preview is shown. In those cases it's shown backwards (LTR instead of RTL).

    This happens in spite of the fact that the text box is marked as a 'Hebrew' one and 'RTL Arabic' digits is selected.
    I'm using a Mac running OS X 10.13.6 High Sierra.

    Hi Eli,

    Not all the fonts have all the glyphs available with them to show the preview. For the fonts where glyphs are not available, we show the default sample preview (that’s why you get first five glyphs for those fonts)

  15. Paragraph Styles reverting back

    Adobe for MacOS version 23.01

    I updated a paragraph style I've been using since the last version. So when I save the document it reverts some of the paragraphs to the previous paragraph style.

  18. Selected font in CC2018 doesn't stick

    Problem when I opened a type sample page I made with Universal News with Commercial Pi, and almost all characters became the rectangle with X inside. I can select the block, then UNwCP and I can see the text changing as I select the face . . . but when I leave the Character pallet, the field blanks.

    Also, if I select one character and type over it, the face becomes Minion. In the sample, see 8, 9, and zero.

    Similarly, in InDesign, I can select a single character and then UNwCP, and the pallet changes to New Century Schoolbook…

  19. Undo randomly groups texts

    After hitting undo a few times will cause a random text to be selected and cannot be unselected. I don't know which text has been selected either. Only way to find out is to direct select each text and try to edit them. That's the only way to exit out of the selection as well. I've found this problem over and over again.

  20. CC font preview not working any more

    When I start typing a font name in the character box I used to get the related font preview pop up , this no longer works at all and is very irritating
