   When the pop-up font preferences panel opens, which is an easy selection area, the window that opens to select a font disappears when hovering over it with the mouse. The font preference preview panel closes before making a selection. It occurred after the last update.

3. 保存後、再度開くと文字スタイルがリセットかつ適用できない箇所が一部発生

   文字スタイルの不具合が２点。
   いずれも、クラウドドキュメント（.aic）で保存したファイルを、次の日開いたら発生。

   1. 適用していた文字スタイル（標準文字スタイル）が解除され、再度どの文字スタイルを選択しても適用されない

   2. 適用していた文字スタイル（標準文字スタイル）の部分が文字化けし、設定していないフォントに書き換えられる

   正直、保存→ファイルを開くだけで、こんな不具合が出るのは非常に困ります。尚且つ、1.の再度文字スタイルが選べない = 復旧できないは致命的です。
   XDに近い、テキストスタイルはとても便利な機能なので、早急に安定活用できるよう改善お願いいたします。

   1. 選択箇所のように、サイズ10級にしていた箇所が、フォント種、サイズなどめちゃめちゃになり、スタイルの再設定もできない

   1. 1.と同様の「標準文字スタイル」箇所が勝手に他のフォントに設定され、尚且つ文字化けを起こしている

4. 縦組みのエリア内文字のスレッドテキストオプション作成が正常に機能しない

   macOS 14.7.2
   Illustrator ver.29.1

   Step to reproduce
   1.縦組みのエリア内文字を作成する
   2.矩形ツールで矩形を描く
   3.エリア内文字と矩形を選択してメニュー「書式→スレッドテキストオプション→作成」を選択する。
   4.矩形が縦組みエリア内文字に変換されるが、スレッドテキストにはならずエリア内文字のコンテンツがコピーされた状態になる。

   期待する動作
   矩形がスレッドテキストとして正常にリンクされる。

   実際の結果
   スレッドテキスト→作成を実行してもスレッドテキストとならずコンテンツの状態もおかしい。

   回避策
   Tツールを使って手動でスレッドテキストをリンクさせる。

   縦組みに対するスレッドテキストオプションの挙動は全般おかしく、エリア内文字や矩形の構成や状態によって挙動が異なる場合がありますが、全般的に意図した通りに動作しない。
   また、おかしくなったエリア内テキストを手動でリンクさせようとするとIllustratorがクラッシュします。

5. Why the the FONT i used are NOT LONGER AVALIABLE in Adobe premiere pro?

   Hi Adobe community, a few weeks ago I updated a new Adobe Premiere version and since then the font I was using has changed and I can no longer find it among those available. The fonts I need are: Algerian, BlackadderlITC-Regual, Garamond-Italic, Onyx. I try to find these fonts as if they were extensions from the official Adobe page but I couldn't find the Algerian font in this way either... Can anyone help me or give me advice? Thanks a lot!

6. Now the Space Bar Doesn't Work for Text in Mac Sequoia

   Every time I launch AI on a Mac Sequoia OS, something in AI will not work right. This morning, the spacebar no longer adds space between words in text. What's so frustrating is you never know what shortcut/tool will fail when using Adobe products in Mac Sequoia OS. Please fix these problems. Thank you.

7. Source Han Sans font doesn't show up in Illustrator

   Many such fonts after installing in Adobe fonts, it doesn't show up in Illustrator or other adobe apps.

8. Eyedropper set to pickup character style and color, changes text color.

   Can anyone please explain why this happens? It has bugged me for a long time. I have the eyedropper clearly set to pickup the color as well as character style. It always reverts to black.

9. Font Selection Panel Stuck on top of the Artboard/Application

   Selecting font panel is stuck on the screen. Tried 'Reset Essentials' but the font panel does not go away. Able to work on the artboard and its contents like normal but the font selection panel is irresponsive to attempts in moving it. When going in Properties panel and changing font of a text there, the dropdown is bugged out (can only change font if you type font name).

   Only after quitting application did the font selection panel disappear.

10. Braille fonts are displaying incorrectly after latest update (29.1)

    After doing the latest update, one particular font I use is displaying at a different spacing to what it was in the previous versions of illustrator and is incorrect.

    Its a slight difference but I deal with braille on medicine so this is required to be very accurate. I have attached an example but am unable to upload the font, which is a unique braille font for our company.

    I have gone back to the previous version of Illustrator for now to resolve this.

    右揃えテキスト中に四分アキ等の文字が含まれ、アキの設定を自動の場合、テキスト右端がズレます。
    自動設定ではなく、「アキなし」や個別にアキ量を「二分アキ」等に指定するとこの問題は解消されます。

    Since yesterday Illustrator (29.1) has virtually become unusable to me and I have no idea what happened. I didn't install any new apps.

19. Illustrator 29.1 Can't Import AI Files From Other Apps

    I posted something about this in the Illustrator user forums earlier today. I've been dealing with a bug present in the Illustrator 29.1 update that was pushed to users this morning. This new version cannot open AI files exported by rival graphics applications if the AI file contains any live text objects. If the artwork is all raw vectors, even with complex fills, it opens fine. Any live text makes it a no-go.

    When attempting to open the AI file containing text objects this message is displayed:
    "Illustrator could partially read this file. We recovered as much of the file as possible, but some content might be missing. Open to view the recovered file."

    When the file is opened there is no content, just an empty placement box.

    Rebooting, resetting Illustrator preferences, doing disk cleanup, etc made no difference. The problem still persists.

    The only solution appears to be installing a previous build of Illustrator and opening the exported AI files there.

    I first encountered the problem on my desktop PC at work (running Win 11 Pro). Then I checked my home setup (an Alienware notebook still running Win 10 Pro). Sure enough, after the patch for Illustrator 29.1 applied it would no longer open AI files made by other applications if the files contained text objects. The latest Beta build is also affected by the same problem.

    This might not seem like an important issue, but it is pretty common to handle art files made by customers or by co-workers who are using other rival design applications (such as CorelDRAW).

    I also tested whether any plugins, such as those from Astute Graphics, could be contributing to the issue. Removing all the plugins and even resetting preferences afterward didn't make any difference.

20. Font changes from the current one to the previously used while typing

    I'm working on a document in which I used Avenir font, but for the most I use Myriad Pro. When I click with the Type tool I see in the character box I'm with the default font (Myriad Pro) and start typing. Then noticed I'm now in Avenir font!
    This bug is brand new with the latest update (29.1), I didn't add any issue of that type before.
    I'm on Windows 11 PC Core i7-13700 32 Go of RAM

    This issue has been fixed in 29.2 release. Please update your Illustrator to latest version through Creative Cloud Desktop.
