I am happy to share that we have fixed this bug in our latest release – 26.x which is available worldwide now.
Going forward, our goal is to fix as many top User-Voice bugs as possible and as frequently as possible. Given the nature of the fixes, some of the bugs will take a longer time to fix, but we are on it.
You can update to the latest release using Creative Cloud desktop App: https://helpx.adobe.com/in/creative-cloud/help/creative-cloud-updates.html

1. Right click on the Adobe Illustrator
2. Select get Info from the options

We are sorry to hear that you had trouble.
By any chance are you using M1 machine? we do not have support yet for DXF/DWG files in the M1 native build. In case you want to use DXF/DWG export /import you can always move to rosetta emulation mode and use that functionality.Do let know if that works for you or not.

Thanks for reaching out.
We recommend you to move to the latest Adobe Illustrator 25.3 builds, in-case that is an issue for you can move to our Long term support version 24.3.Though this is not recommended to be used we are providing a workaround for the problem.
On win –
1. Close AI if already opened
2. Open the path where build is located eg- \Users\<username>\Downloads\24.0.1\Support Files\Required\UXP\extensions\com.adobe.ccx.start
3. Open the manifest.json file in any editor
4. Clear ready only flag of the file if present as it would not allow file to be modified
5. Change the version number field to something like "version": "10.1.0.154"
6. Relaunch AIOn Mac
1. Close AI if already opened
2. Open the bundled home screen “/Applications/Adobe\ Illustrator\ 2020/Adobe\ Illustrator.app/Contents/Required/UXP/extensions/com.adobe.ccx.start “
3. Open the manifest.json file in any editor
4. Clear ready only flag of the file if present as it would not allow file to be modified
5. Change the version number field to something like "version": "10.1.0.154"

The issue is no longer reproducible in later versions of Illustrator. Please comment back if it still does happen for you.

This issue (entire M1 McBook system freezes) is fixed for AI 25.0.1 and 25.1
This fix takes effect in a day’s time, if you still face this entire system freeze then please follow the steps to update
1). Backup your preferences and launch Illustrator with fresh preferences
2). Quit and re-launch Illustrator once again
3). Use Illustrator in your workflowIf you see AI crash and entire system is not freezing then please create a new issue.

We have found that there are two possible solutions for this which are mentioned below -
1. Reinstalling the CCD (it gives the right set of permissions)
2. Creating the new admin user account.Let me know if any of these works for you.

To select the height and width at one go you would have to click on the text box while the cursor is not converted to the any other symbol and remains as mouse icon.
It would be possible to do so when you hover just below or above the numbers in the height/Width box.
