An error occurred while saving the comment I see, you meant the actual command, and not the effect.
Indeed, I get the error too.AdminEgor Chistyakov (Admin, Adobe Illustrator) supported this idea ·An error occurred while saving the comment Stefan, I can’t reproduce it.
Does it happen for any live paint group, or this one specifically?
Do you refer to the Outline Stroke effect or are you trying to expand strokes?
Do you apply the effect to the whole group or to a part of it?
Can you record a short video maybe? -

Hi Everyone,
This functionality is available in our latest release build – 27.6.1.
Color Model selection for JPG is available in Export For Screens -> Advanced settings. Illustrator will allow you to choose - RGB, CMYK or Grayscale color model.
What's New in the release - https://helpx.adobe.com/in/illustrator/using/whats-new.html
Thank you for all the feedback.
An error occurred while saving the comment Peter, actually Illustrator respects overprint on Export... we talked about here:
https://illustrator.uservoice.com/forums/333657-illustrator-desktop-feature-requests/suggestions/37832167-overprint-simulation-on-image-file-exports-jpeg-f
Can you recheck at and reply back with the observations? As for the profile embedding — please upvote this report:

If this option gets added, where do you think is the best place for looking for it?
1. Preferences > Former 'Appearance of Black' (Appearance of Color)
2. View > Proof section or even Proof Setup submenu
3. Edit > Color SettingsAn error occurred while saving the comment Huh, it’s the same way I use to render vivid Pantones in a CMYK document :/ and I confess that at least once I occasionally saved the document, ruining the values.
I wonder what is the best scenario would be to address this?
1. Display vivid Pantones in CMYK, directly converting Lab values into screen space, all the time
2. Only in Overprint preview
3. Only on export
4. Only with an appropriate setting enabled in Preferences > Appearance of Black (but rename the section?)
Which way seems the less confusing and more useful to you?An error occurred while saving the comment Peter, while I share the enthusiasm (yay, hooray), can you be a bit more specific with your sarcasm? :)
Presets/profiles is one thing, prefixes/suffixes is another one, and CMYK JPEGs is what this particular report is about.
If you have some other requests and reports — you can go ahead and upvote them, or make a new one if you think it’s overlooked. It’s easier to break it all at once, but it’s hard to fix it... One at a time, one per entry, step by step.
The change is available in the Beta, you can try it yourself — and change the bet, if you like. Please comment back if it does not work as expected. An error occurred while saving the comment I’d not mind having a way to export CMYK files from a CMYK document, as a clear option, but not as default, because 'Export for SCREENS' implies a JPEG in RGB space. Very few viewers can display CMYK decently, and some users just don’t expect a shenanigan like this.

And there is no way to choose profile too. -

An error occurred while saving the comment No, the screenshot you demonstrated was quite clear, I understood it's the actual artboard is torn from its border.

Which version of Ai is this also?
Does it get better when you turn off GPU in Preferences and view it in CPU Preview mode? -

An error occurred while saving the comment Well, not exactly native, it belongs to PowerToys, which is native, but had to be installed and enabled first... I don’t use, but use another similar but old app instead, without problems. My display is not that wide, but I’d try to verify it. Thanks for the report!
An error occurred while saving the comment Weird! How long ago did it start to happen?
What resolution does your display has?
Do you have any snapping utilities installed and running? (I am seeing a white flesh which makes the window snap and I don’t recognize it as a native Windows 10 feature).
Does it still happen if you make a window a bit smaller and try to place it elsewhere?
Does the same happen with Photoshop or InDesign? -

The latest Beta 28.7.0.45 finally offers transparency support.
Transparent background is no longer traced as white in color presets '3 Colors', '6 Colors', '16 Colors', 'Low Fidelity Photo' and 'High Fidelity Photo'.
Not (yet hopefully) supported for Black & White based presets.
Partial transparency is not supported and will lead to incorrect colors for these regions. Overlapping path method will also result in incorrect object appearance.
Note also this build introduced Logical Grouping of paths in output when expanded — to hopefully allow easier editing,
Please try the build and provide feedback.
An error occurred while saving the comment Oh yes.
The problem is that Illustrator does not support transparency in traced images — AT ALL. When you trace an image with a transparent background, it first flattens it to white — always — and only then performs the segmentation, fitting, etc. So in this case it just becomes pure white.
This is extremely stupid, and the recent 'pick color to remove' option does not help with it either. There is a workaround you can use for now...
Select the image (make sure it's' embedded). Go Edit > Edit Colors > Invert Colors. You’ll get black on transparent. Trace it, remove white, expand and invert colors back. This hardly works if you have other colors, and also black, and they both touch the transparent areas — in this cases parts will go missing.
The more complex workaround would be to flatten or re-rasterize the image with an undercoat, using a color that is not used in your image...But truly the team should just fix this.
An error occurred while saving the comment This is nonsense.
Replacing transparent pixels with white is no something anyone wants.AdminEgor Chistyakov (Admin, Adobe Illustrator) supported this idea ·An error occurred while saving the comment True, Ai does not have an option to ignore only outside white, only all or nothing. But in your case an action can be recorded (not a script even) that can make it automatically.
Trace with ignore white, have only black lines. Make a copy of your artwork below. Release this compound path. Apply Pathfinder Add. Fill white. Select all, Pathfinder Merge.
A workaround, but should work.
I wonder also why do you set 100 colors, when you have only 2?

An error occurred while saving the comment It’s hard to tell anything without having the actual file on hands and seeing the color settings and the values you try.
It can be influenced by so many things... color profiles, document color mode, etc.
Can you share these, please? -

An error occurred while saving the comment Yep, this is true.
This Contextual Task Bar is yet a first attempt to tackle it, and it does not get displayed for almost anything we actually need.
Thinking of it — what commands and buttons do you expect to see when you select a compound path and a compound shape? or any other object you want it to appear for?
Please tell, the team is greatly interested into hearing about it. -

An error occurred while saving the comment Beril, can you please share this document with the team?
Describe the exact steps you perform to create these artboards (Ai has several methods), the ones which lead to them vanishing after you reopen the document.
If you cant’ share it here publicly, then email it to sharewithai@adobe.com, and specify the link to this report for tracking: http://illustrator.uservoice.com/forums/601447/suggestions/47189996 -

I am happy to share that we have fixed this bug in our latest release – 24.2.0 which is available worldwide now.
Going forward, our goal is to fix as many top User-Voice bugs as possible and as frequently as possible. Given the nature of the fixes, some of the bugs will take a longer time to fix, but we are on it.
You can update to the latest release using Creative Cloud desktop App: https://helpx.adobe.com/in/creative-cloud/help/creative-cloud-updates.html
Thank you for all the feedback. Keep it coming!

Kevin, interesting... Well, perhaps this app has some settings you can tweak to make it stop stealing the clipboard or hotkeys?
Are you sure the issue does not happen if you have the app shut off?
