This can be done with View > Trim View command.
You can assign any hotkey you want to it.
There is also a Presentation mode, but it does a slightly different thing.

An error occurred while saving the comment You should have attached the image that Ai renders for you, because I have is displayed quite similar to CPU, both in Beta and released versions! The book, the textures, shadows... all looks fine. only some blurriness, but that’s tolerable. A nice dragon!
I moved it to bug reports.
As for the Area Type Auto Size — you definitely should make it a separate request. -

An error occurred while saving the comment Sorry, but why do you switch workspaces? I am not sure what you mean.
As for the gesture — which one do you propose? -

An error occurred while saving the comment Hm. I don't get why is it hard (although the mechanism is outdated for sure, compared to iPad one, for example)...
Here is how I do it.
I Alt+click with the Type tool at the most bottom point of the circle — this is where start and end markers are placed, so the text flows between them. Center aligned it goes on top (almost perfectly centered — because markers can’t occupy the same point and one is shifted slightly).
How do you do it? -

Thank you for reporting the issue. We have added the issue to our backlog.

An error occurred while saving the comment Hm. I rotate with another Transform effect to change direction. It's not a bug, it's kinda obvious correct behaviour, but it would be nice feature request. But think about more transformative transformation — like Skew — how effect should behave then?
Also blur is set by pixels (which is bound to Raster Effect Settings), and Feather to document units (which is not). Both behaviours are useful, but I agree that both effects should allow to use both ways to set value. Please log it as Feature request.
An error occurred while saving the comment And if you ever make this, please make it an option, because sometimes (more often) I need to transform my shape without affecting it shadow.

An error occurred while saving the comment Well, this is bad. Thanks for details, will check how it performs.
An error occurred while saving the comment Peter, more information is needed.
Does it happen with all files you tried, or one only?
Did it behave alright with this file (if it's old) in the previous versions of Ai? What version do you use now?
If it occurs with one file only — can you share it here? It can help to investigate. -

An error occurred while saving the comment Jan, this is strange.
Please check Preferences > Selection & Anchor Display, 'Hide Corner Widget for angles greater than' value — by default it’s 177°.
What does it have for you?
Does the situation change if you tweak it?
If it does not help. can you provide the test file and the screenshot of how it looks for you? -

An error occurred while saving the comment Did it work fine in the previous versions?
Have you tried to reset preferences (https://astutegraphics.com/support/tutorials-and-troubleshooting/resetting-illustrator-preferences)? — Yeah, I know, this feels like a dumb advice, but it works sometimes. -

An error occurred while saving the comment There are two ways to access this tool (which I use all the time):
1. Hold Alt while you have Direct Selection tool active — this will switch it temporarily to Group Selection. Most users I know use this method.
2. Go to Keyboard Shortcuts, Tools, and assign a hotkey. Double-A won’t do, Ai does not support this, but Shift+A is usually free. This is what I use :)
Does it solve it for you, Pete? -

An error occurred while saving the comment Craig, this is a common GPU rendering problem :(
I can confirm this also happens on my machine.
The workaround would be to switch to CPU mode in cases like this. Hopefully it will get fixed eventually.

An error occurred while saving the comment John, I don't get it.
You say you attach the EPS-file you created with Illustrator in email? What application do you mean? Do you use a specific emailing app or do you use web-based service?
You say 'Adobe says 'Cannot open'' — Adobe is a company, you obviously mean some Adobe app that says it... which one? Or do you mean this site stops you from uploading EPS-file here?
The EPS that you attached contains a raster image of some graph. Why EPS?
What do you try to do? So many questions :) Please explain more. -

An error occurred while saving the comment Mark, it’d be lucky if you were able to pinpoint the case where it happens reproducibly. If it does, can you package the document file with fonts you are using?

It’ already here in Ai.
