This problem is reportedly fixed in the latest Beta Build 30.5.0.18. You can update and test if it’s truly gone.
However, please not there are some known issues with this particular build:
- Opening recent files from Home Screen Recent section is not working (opening recent files from File > Open Recent Files works fine).
- Generative Expand does not open its own HUD when used after Generate Vector, Generative Shape Fill, or Sketch to Vector. Instead, the previous tool's HUD is displayed and Generative Expand remains inaccessible. Workaround: Ungroup the generative content first, then apply Generative Expand.
- Half of Astute Graphics plugins can’t get loaded. Both teams are now aware of the problem.

As mentioned before, this got shipped into the main (GA) build, but the development is not completed. The team has been gathering all the user feedback and intends to address it.
Here are several relevant entries you can upvote.
Bug reports:
- Spots and Globals are converted into process colors when included into Swatch Info
- Swatches Info doesn’t work for the only swatch selected
- Swatch Info renders a saved tint as yet another copy of the main global color
- The default text color in Swatches Info is rich RGB black when used in a CMYK document
- Tabs in Swatch Info text are made with spaces instead of actual tabs
- Bottom margins for labels are too small for Swatch Info objects in the column view (with no card backgrounds)

Highly efficient prepress work is achieved by minimizing unnecessary clicks in a production environment.
I consider Illustrator to be an industrial product. These additional microscopic buttons require you to aim at them, click them, and then deal with an equally microscopic window that pops up. Previously, all you had to do was click the image you needed, work with it, glance at the Control panel—the best panel, unlike the Properties panel—and immediately make a decision. There was no need to click around anywhere else.
I would also like to say that I consider the Properties panel to be the most pointless and utterly inefficient feature created by people who do not perform hands-on work in Adobe Illustrator. Practically every element there requires an additional click to perform an action: to choose a color, you have to click; and so on.
