なかなか再現しないのですが、何度も移動を細かく繰り返すと再現しました。

Illustrator 2024（28.4.1）Apple Siliconでも再現します。
上記の再現手順に漏れていますが、再現するには「GPUパフォーマンス」「リアルタイムの描画と編集」の両方ともONにする必要があります。 -

現在最新のベータ版 (29.9.0 #6) で少し改善されていて、環境設定を開くと「環境設定を検索」にフォーカスしなくなりました。環境設定が壊れるバグは直っていませんけど。

In the current latest beta version (29.9.0 #6), there has been some improvement - the Preferences no longer automatically focus on the Search Preferences bar when opened. However, the bug that corrupts the Preferences settings still hasn't been fixed.An error occurred while saving the comment monokano

This bug is quite severe and requires immediate action. Therefore, removing the Search Preferences bar immediately should be prioritized over attempting to fix it first.

In 2025 (29.7.1), this bug has started occurring even in flattened PSD files with only background layers. It has gotten worse and worse.

PDF書き出しでモノクロ2階調画像にグレースケールのダウンサンプルが適用されてしまうバグは、下記の経緯があります。
1. このバグは10年以上前から「埋め込みのモノクロ2階調画像」ですでに発生していた（どの時点かは不明）
2. 2025 (29.6) で、「埋め込みではないリンク配置のモノクロ2階調画像」にもこのバグが発生するようになった埋め込みの有無にかかわらずバグが発生しないようにする必要があります。

82 votesWe finally got the control over the active artboard border color.
In Beta 30.1.0.89, in Preferences > Selection & Anchor Display, in the new Artboard Display section, we now can choose the color and the border width in pixels — black, 1 px by default, as usual. We can set it 4 px maximum
The border tries to get aligned by center, but stays pixel-perfect, so choosing 3 is safe. Color choices are the same as we get with layers’ colors, with a custom option as well.
There’s no way to tweak inactive artboards’ borders. Please comment if this solution is working for you and if there’s anything you need to have it perfect.

83 votesAccording to Abhishek Rao here, disabling 'Export in Background' in Preferences > File Handling helps to workaround the problem (until the actual fix). Make sure you enable 'Art Optimized (Supersampling)' as an anti-aliasing option in Export for Screens settings as well.

The cause of this also appears to be the same.
The hinting not applied when export to JPG with anti-aliasing set to Hint in "Export for screen"

Among RGB linked images, tif, png, and jpg files appear as if converted to CMYK in the Links panel thumbnails. When exporting to PDF (with no color conversion), they are also actually converted to CMYK.
