You can now try the Star as a Live Shape in the latest Beta 28.3.0.47
Please test it and share your feedback on the tool.
An error occurred while saving the comment Anonymous commentedIllustrator is WAY overdue for more shapes.
Triangle
Hearts
Half Circle
Quarter Circle
Octagons
Diamonds
Tear Drop
Stars (More variety! For instance, a star with the edges between the points curved inward.)
Half Moon
Chevron
Cross
Tree
Cloud
Word Bubble
Etc.Yes, you CAN create all these already, but it takes time and is frustrating. Just give is a palette of vector shapes that we can quickly pull from when coming up with designs. If you need an example of this, check out the app 'Assembly'.

We are excited to announce that this feature is now available in BETA (starting V 29.1.28).
The new 'Generate color info' helps you share color information with others.
To use this, just select the colors from the swatch panel and click on 'generate color info' in the menu options.
You can customise the size, layout, color codes etc.
PS : Currently we only support CMYK values but other color codes such as RGB, HSB, spot vs process colors are in pipeline and we will ship them shortly.
Please try out this feature and let us know what you think!
Thanks
Saurav

According to the team, there was an issue because of live color preview, and it had to be disabled in 27.6.1. The team is working on fixing the issue at the earliest, and then the live color feature would be in the release with the fix.

An error occurred while saving the comment Anonymous commentedI'm not in a fresh install, but the same thing has happened to me. Both versions of Illustrator that I have installed (2020/2022) are completely stuck on the brush tool, and there's no way to change it. I'm totally screwed.

Please accept my sincere apology for the inconvenience. Please get in touch with us at any of the other support channels – https://helpx.adobe.com/support.html . Since this is not a generic issue that we can reproduce at our end, we will need someone to look into your machine to figure out what is going on here.
Thanks & Regards,

Done in version 26 (2022). You can now use Tab and Shift+Tab to cycle focus while renaming layers and artboards (but not assets yet — vote to make it happen, https://illustrator.uservoice.com/forums/333657/suggestions/31567951). Yay!
Please comment here if you have any issues with how it works).Anonymous supported this idea ·
Thanks for the reply, Egor! :)
The software is Moho (an animation app.) Once you have the trim tool selected, you can move one side by click drag and the other side by alt+click drag.
It also has a really cool feature where you can hide sections of a stroke between two points. I just don't use it as often as the trim function.
