Save As or Save Copy not working
I have a document (on a network share). I can edit the file and save it normally.
But SAVE AS or SAVE COPY do not work at all. Just Nothing Happens.

A semicircle shape gets exported as a circle in SVG
When I create a shape that is between a circle and a square, it is rendered as a circle in an SVG export, while a PNG export (via save for web) makes a good shape.

Objects missing when exporting JPEG
Objects/vectors on my art board are missing when exporting file to jpeg. Issue started happening in new Ai 2020 update.

Export for screen file name not working
So, I am using Illustrator 25.0 on a Mac 10.15.7 and when I want to export artboards through export for screen menu, the output file only contains the artboard name. The file name is missing (as prefix).
The process is:
1. I create a document.
2. Draw a rectangle (or anything) in artboard named 'rectangle'.
3. Save it anywhere as 'test.ai'
4. Export the artboard using export for screen as a JPG, with default settings — Ai won't show any file name.

Accessing onedrive files
We store all our art files on onedrive. I am unable to import or access illustrator files from our onedrive. Would love to be able to open, edit and re-save to make in the moment adjustments. Or am I doing something wrong?

Crashing when trying to save file
Sometimes when I'm trying to save my progress on a file, it crashes and doesn't create a recovered file or anything. I've lost a lot of work.

desktop overrides ipad
ai desktop 25.0 and ai ipad
if drawing is open on desktop and i open it in ipad (and leave it open on desktop) and make changes .... then go back to the desktop the changes don't show up , but then, the old desktop version got synced and overrode the ipad changes on the ipad :(, and changes lost

won't save
Nothing happened when I clicked Save or Save as... The only way was to export for screen as a PDF and then relaunch.

Default save location for "SAVE FOR WEB" in Illustrator 2020 (24.2)
Hello,
In version 24.2 of Illustrator the behavior of the SAVE FOR WEB (LEGACY) function has change. In version 24.1 and older, the default saving location vas the last saved location used, in version 24.2 it is the location where the Illustrator (.ai) file is located which is by default. I was wondering if this is a bug or voluntary choice because it affects my work flow considerably even if it may seem like a small detail. I understand the value of saving by default where the Illustrator (.ai) file is located, but I would like to choose the method…3 votes -
Large size canvas saving to pdf failed
Using windows 7 and Illustrator 24.2 June release
As documented for Large size canvas, created a file using 2270x2270 in. While saving it as ai it's saving as expected, but saving it as pdf using pdf ver. 1.6 or later getting an error:
"The dimension of this page is out of range"

Lost Work. Work not in cloud
I worked on a file for an hour Saturday, 10/24 and it isn’t there today. I’m working in the Beta version of Illustrator for iPad. I’ve never had a document not automatically save to the cloud. I also checked my creative cloud and it wasn’t there either. The beta version of Ai for iPad is not a separate app from the public version. I can only have 1 version on my iPad at a time. I really wish the beta was a separate app so I could have both versions. Now I can’t work in it at all for fear…

illustrator is unable to save this file
I can't save or copy duplicate a copy of the file. Need to save second time attempt then there's PDF file stated... please help!

Save As and Save
I open an existing file, make edits and either Save As or Save (ctrl+s). A dialog box says the file couldn't be saved because of various possible reasons which none of are true. I immediately try to Save As or Save (ctrl+s) after closing the dialog and the save is successful. This happens 99% of the time since 24.0.1 (possibly sooner).

Save for Web locks and unresponsive
I've been encountering this issue for a while now.
Whenever I save for web and need to size up an image or the image is not done loading and I click save but then close the box, everything freezes and there's nothing to do, but to force quit.

Why won't the attached svg open?
All the icon svg paths in the polaris icon system won't open in illustrator. It seems to be valid svg and renders in the browser just fine. It also won't open in XD.

CMYK profile exports as RGB pdf
saving cmyk document and opens in acrobat as RGB. Checked profile in acrobat says CMYK. used old document pre update, those files work fine

Save not working
I am beyond frustrated! fix your freaking save function!!!!!!!!!!
Working at a professional shop where time is a high priority I don't need to spend 5 minutes making changes only to find out in the RIP that the changes didn't work and I have to go back several times over making the same changes again and again!

Exporting as wrong name
Operating System: Windows 10
Adobe Illustrator: v25.0
I have a file open, I 'save as', and rename the file.
I alter the file and when I export it as a jpg, normally the jpg name is the new file name.
Instead, the name is the previous file name before 'save as'.

Saving Issues on Large Artboards
I am working in the Illustrator 2020 with Windows 10. The issue I have is that when I initially work on a project with an artboard say 300"x300" it works great and seems to save just fine. However after I close out and go to re-open the saved file it comes in at 10% scale. My new artboard is 30"x30". Am I missing something? I feel like the file should remain how you saved it.
