High Sierra (macOS 10.13) GPU rendering issues with RGB document - Intel Graphics
Illustrator 21.1.0 has issues with GPU rendering in the latest High Sierra public betas:
Paths will appear jagged and generally do not display correctly.
Altering the zoom level affects these artefacts.
Switching off GPU rendering altogether fixes the issue but this way, performance is obviously affected.
Additional Note: Works correctly in CMYK document.
the issue has been resolved by Appple in macOSX 10.13.4
Please upgrade to resolve the issue

I upgraded my OS to Hi Sierra and upgraded my Illustrator too. Now my vextors are not rendering broken and distorted.

An interim fix is to turn off GPU performance in Indesign preferences.

Why do they take so much time?!!!

How has this not been fixed yet this is ridiculous, it renders my external monitor setup essentially useless with a late 2016 MBP. Adobe, please fix this I don't understand why this isn't a top priority.

Incredibly slow in outline-view. It's happening for months without a fix.

I'm using illustrator 22.0.1 on a 2016 macbook pro touch bar. Which gpu performace enabled in illustrator, my whole mac started having display glitches/artefacts. I have to disable gpu performance to at least get down to work. Also there is a 'selection lag', where if I try to select multiple objects, there's a noticeable annoying lag before another object gets selected. Whats going on??

Same issue. very very annoying. turning off GPU preview makes the entire UI lag more than it should on a brand new i7 macbook pro.

same issue as other posters,
PLUS THIS ONE!
other is you can check please too, this is on macbook pro 2016 (using the trackpad) GPU TURNED ON
1)make a simple box with fill using the rectangle tool
2)go to effect than distort & transform / transform
3) move transform horizontal 0.1mm / vertical 0.1mm
4) copies, with the trackpad move up & down with 2 fingers to change the values to increase and decrease, (ie over 100+ than 0) keep doing thatafter doing that the whole macbook freezes and need a hard reset,
it dont to that if the GPU is turned off

I experience the same issue. I'm running the latest Illustrator CC update 22.0.1
In combination with a:
- MacBook Pro (13-inch, 2017, Four Thunderbolt 3 Ports)
- 3,1 GHz Intel Core i5
- 16 GB 2133 MHz LPDDR3
- Intel Iris Plus Graphics 650 1536 MBAlso I'm running the latest Sierra update (10.13.1 (17B48))
Is there any perspective on when this fix will come out either by apple or adobe? It is quite a serious bug, since this issue cuts right true the core of graphic design.

The issue with vectors having choppy interlaced graphics still hasn't been resolved, noting any non vector image is fine.
Disputing whether this is on Illustrator or every MacBook Pro motherhood is faulty is up for debate. lol.

Have found that using CMYK colours pretty much clears up the issue for the time being. Of course this is only a temporary solution

Very new to Illustrator, and trying to learn the ins and outs of it. It does'nt help when a bug like this seriously hinders my learning. Have GPU on, jagged lines appear across paths which change depending on zooming in and out. Turn GPU off, jagged lines are gone, but performance is painfully slow. I spent a lot of money on a new mac and an illustrator subscription, and it's annoying to use products that don’t work as they should. It looks like there are a few of us having this problem. Mine is with the Intel Iris Plus Graphics 650 1536 MB

On my mb pro 2017 touch bar, i7, 16gb
For the time being, on illustrator, switch the preview mode (View > ..) from GPU Preview to either CPU Preview or Overprint Preview. It does the job for now..the performance is a bit low though but it's workable till the next update (hope it comes ASAP).. -
