Demo version of Illustrator crashes constantly, destroying files.
Illustrator CC 21.1.0 (trial), MacBook Pro13,3 (15" with touch bar), macOS Sierra 10.12.3. It seems to happen mostly when editing colors or character/paragraph styles, but honestly it's hard to say, because it's seemingly random. I'd be happy to attach a copy of the file I was working on, but every version is gone now, even ones that were saved between crashes with different file names. You should have several crash reports via Apple, I hope. I can also upload console logs if needed, but I didn't find a folder for Illustrator.
Please get in touch with us at any of the other support channels – https://helpx.adobe.com/support.html . Since this is not a generic issue that we can reproduce at our end, we will need someone to look into your machine to figure out what is going on here.

I don't have privileges for the Radar, if that's what you mean, but I have uploaded the package here:
http://doubtfulpalace.com/temp/31228633.zip
The instructions to reproduce:
1. Edit the Paragraph Style "Back Cover"
2. Select "Tabs"
3. Move the leftmost tab to 3pt, and the rightmost tab to 9pt
4. ApplyThat's when you crash.

I take it back: I found the file. And I have a reproducible case: edit the paragraph style "Back Cover", set the leftmost (right-justified) tab to 3 pt and the rightmost (left-justified) tab to 9 pt. Unfortunately, I don't know how to upload the file at this point. For that matter, I have no idea why this is an "idea" rather than a "bug": I hit the Bug Report button (with the ladybug on it).
