I am happy to share that we have fixed this bug in our latest release – 23.0.6 which is available worldwide now.

Going forward, our goal is to fix as many top User-Voice bugs as possible and as frequently as possible. Given the nature of the fixes, some of the bugs will take a longer time to fix, but we are on it.

    I can't believe this, am I dreaming? The everlasting bug was finally fixed, they did it!!! No more need to use black shapes on white background and import in Photoshop to invert it, what a bless!

    Black background STILL isn't working, keeps showing as white. How has this not been fixed yet?

    it's intermittent for me, sometimes works but mostly doesnt. incredible frustrating when you're trying to export a few logo variations at a time. have to manually add a black square to background layer.

    Hasn't this been fixed? Wow adobe - take a bow!! Any plans to address this?

    Can't export PNG from AI with black background selected. It shows up as white.
