Eyedropper creates buggy hidden/invisible/non-existent appearances on text objects
This bug only seems to work on Windows.

Creating a default text object, selecting it, then clicking on it with the eyedropper tool creates an invisible/pseudo-existing appearance on the text. This is evident in that going to the top menu shows that Object > Expand... is greyed out while Object > Expand Appearance is not. You can also see in the Layers panel that the text object has its selection circle filled with grey, indicating that it has an appearance. Yet checking the Appearance panel shows that there is no appearance at all…

Info panel useless for graphs
[Illustrator 25.0, Windows 10 Enterprise]
When using Group Select tool to select an element within a graph, the Info panel shows nonsensical values (e.g. W: -2730p6 H: -2730p6 ). Since the Transform panel has never shown values for graph elements (grayed out, 0 and 0), we relied on the Info panel to check the size of graph elements.
We use Illustrator exclusively for graphs, and this bug makes it impossible to follow our sizing standards.
This is an ongoing bug, every graph, every element of it, all the time.

BUG: Unexpected (strange) outlines on semi-transparent shapes
Creating shapes whose edges are perfectly aligned and then setting "no stroke" and uniform fill color works as expected with 100% opacity.
With different transparency results in strange artifacts on the edges.

illustrator 2021 won't open large files created in 2020 version
Opening large files created in the 2020 version gives a message " Illustrator could partially read this file. We recovered as much of the file as possible, but some content might be missing. Open to view the recovered file."
Any file with multiple layers or artboards only shows one artboard and layers are missing. The weird thing is the preview shows the full file and artboards, they just won't open.
Is anyone else having this problem? I've found that if you install illustrator 2020 and open it there it usually works (although not always)

When I copy something and the I try to paste it there is nothing in the memory buffer.It happens all the time with my colleagues too.Please fix it

Adobe Illustrator 2021 desktop cannot open .aic file from cloud on Windows
I saved a file I was working on to Adobe Creative Cloud two days ago and can't open it or an older version of it. When I try to download it I receive the message "Fehler beim Herunterladen" [Error downloading] (German PC), same with an older version. When I try "in Illustrator öffnen" [open in illustrator] Illustrator will start, but the file won't open and nothing else happens. If I already have another (local) file open in Illustrator, I will shortly see the message (screenshot 1)

Illustrator 2021 - Restart Illustrator to auto-recover files doesn't work
Illustration 2021 25.0.1 version constantly crashing.
On restarting Illustrator app auto-recovery process doesn't work - It doesn't open up the unsaved files with the Recovered suffix as on previous versions.

Artifacts when working with "pixel preview" and cmd+0
MacOs Catalina 10.15.7
Illustrator 25.0.1When i working with Pixel preview and zoom in/zoom out (all ways: opt+mouse wheel, cmd++/cmd+- and cmd+0) artboard - it displayed incorrectly.
Switching Pixel preview of and on dispays graphics correctly.If i disable "Display print size at 100% zoom" it works correctly with opt+mouse wheel and cmd++/cmd+-, but cmd+0 still works with artifacts.
If i enable "Display print size at 100% zoom" again it still working correctly only with alt+mouse wheel and cmd++/cmd+-.
(Turning off GPU don't help with this problem)I test this bug on my friend's macbook with same result.

CC 2021 freezing on or right after start after working just fine for 3 weeks
Hello,
I worked for 3 weeks just fine with PS, AI and InDesign (all CC 2021) and then one evening the applications won't open again. They are freezing when starting up or crashing right after the start. I have changed nothing on my system, have installed no new software or anything I could imagine causing this behavior. Looking for help I browsed the internet and found that for many people only reinstalling the CC2020 applications helped. So I did that because I had work to finish. AIX file opens as blank white square
Working in Windows 10 Pro and Adobe Illustrator 24.3
Hi, I've recently run into the issue of not being able to open AIX files in illustrator despite having logged in to ArcGIS Online. Now, when I open an AIX file I'm just given a blank white square without any of my layers. I haven't had this issue before, so I'm wondering what is causing it. Any help would be appreciated. File I'm trying to open is attached as well as a screen grab of what I'm seeing when I try to open it.

Pathfinder tool functions not working
I am using Illustrator 2021, which just auto-updated, running on Windows 10.
The Pathfinder tool's functions (Unite, Minus Front, Intersect, and Exclude) are not working just after Illustrator 2021 updated. The Intersect subfunction still produces a "The filter produced no results" error box, but none of the other functions do anything.
In the attached image, the two ellipses are supposed to get merged into a lumpy shape, but they don't.

Pixel Preview distorts text at 100 and 50% in CC 2020 (and 2020 beta)
When Preferences > Display Print Size at 100% Zoom is checked Pixel Preview gives a distorted (and wrong size) preview.
This does not happen in CC 2019
Create some text.
Zoom to 100%
Turn on Pixel Preview
Result > the view percentage changes to 126,87%
Zooming out to 100% or 50% shows very distorted text.

Select behind objects
In Illustrator, you can select objects that lie underneath other objects using Ctrl+click (Windows) or Command+click (Mac OS). The pointer changes to Select Behind on the first Ctrl+click (Windows) or Command+click (Mac OS). On subsequent usage of Ctrl+click (Windows) or Command+click (Mac OS), the selection iterates through the objects directly underneath the pointer position.

Survey Request
The annoying prompt to take the survey cannot be turned off. Even on completing it I am still prompted to take it - when you do its recognized you've already taken this. This survey prompt should be disabled at least when it's been taken once.

Illustrator Window Disappears When Changing Screen Focus
When I switch focus from my center screen where illustrator 2020 is, on my mac mini running Catalina 10.15.3 on three LG monitors, to the screen to my left, Illustrator vanishes.
It's not minimized, it's just gone, I have to click on the icon in the taskbar to pull it back up. It looks like it's there in Mission Control, but if I click on it, it just goes back to being invisible/unclickable.

Stroke smaller than 1pt creating spikes/anomalies on the curve
Illustrator 2020 24.0.3
macOS Catalina 10.15.2Need hairline stroke (.003pt) for one of my machines. When I outline Helvetica (Type>Create Outlines), and change the stroke to anything smaller than 1pt, the curves of the font blow out and create spikes. I've been using the same method for several years and this had only just now become an issue.
Tried other fonts and only seems to happen on curves. If I try to use the file anyway and my machine does not recognize the file as having any data in it.

27 Spot Colour limit
We cannot record more than 27 spot colors in illustrator. I do a lot of pantone, but I can only record 27. I need to be able to save all colors in the color library.

SEARCH BAR-Cannot Type in that Field
After saving a file in Illustrator. I go to File>Open>folder my files are in. NEXT, I use the upper right search bar to find the file I need. It will not allow me to type in that search bar. I have to close out of Illustrator, then reopen and start all over again to be able to type in the search bar.

Drag and Drop image from Illustrator HTML5 extension to server/Desktop is not working on MAC OSX
Adobe Illustrator CC 23.0.3, Mac OS 10.14.6(Mojave)
Step To Reproduce issue:
1) create one HTML5 extension.
2) Display images on extension(you can display images from you local disk with html tag <img>)
3) try to drag & drop image from extension to Browser/desktop(on browser you can use google image search dropbox).
Expected Result : Image should be dropped at google image search/desktop(In html cep cookbook clearly mentioned that drag & drop between extension and browser/desktop supported).
Current Result : Image is not getting dropped.
Note: same use case is working fine on windows os
